Kids are so much smarter today than they were in the days of MMPR. These shows need to be produced in a way that tickles their intelligence instead of just assuming they're all laying on the floor with action figures eating Cheetos. |

...Shit. That's how Chrysalis was defeated...
Anyway, I do agree. I want the series to treat the audience like they're not completely brain dead. I understand that at the end of the day, PR is a glorified toy commercial, but it doesn't even attempt to hide the fact that they think their audience is drooling on the floor as they watch. |
I just purchased MMPR Season 3 for $10 at Target and watching it right now.
I'm up to where Kimberly transfers her Pink Ranger power to Kat. |
I bought the big MMPR set earlier this year and have since been watching through it. Haven't really watched any of this since I was a kid, so it's been interesting. I'm still in the first season, but I've got nine episodes left. While I'm still mostly enjoying the show, I have to admit that I probably wouldn't if I hadn't watched it as a kid.
I think the parts I'm enjoying the most are the scenes involving Bulk and Skull. They really could have made a show just about them. They're two PR actors I would love to meet someday, along with JDF. |
If I play my cards right, I'll get both Seasons 4-7 and Seasons 8-12 DVD sets for Christmas. I've taken a long hiatus after watching MMPR seasons 1, 2, and 3 (along with the Alien Rangers miniseries). So hopefully on Christmas Day I'll finally resume my long journey of watching every season of Power Rangers up to Super Megaforce!
Unfortunately, that journey means I'll have to watch Turbo. :( Plus, if I want to feel complete with my Power Rangers marathoning, that also would mean watching both movies. Help... |
I thought 99% percent of humanity hated smaurai and thought it was the worst Power Rnagers season ever.

Day of the Dumpster
MMPR S1E1 Ah, nostalgia. Those astronauts on the moon, let's call that desert the moon, seem awefully excited to find a Space Dumpster, don't they? "Yay! Space Trash!" It was nice seeing Ernie's again though, the real Ernie's. And Bulk and Skull. I wish Narvy was in more of Samurai than the last episode, not that Spike wasn't funny to. It was just nice seeing everything again. Alpha and Zordon, the Command Center. Trini. But on to the story! It was .. A story :lol But what can you do with borrowed footage. It did what it was supossed to do. Introduced the characters, the powers, told you who the villians were. And aside from a few hiccups it was good. Onward! |
I'm watching Ninja Quest Part 2 because I read a fanfic where they combined Ninja Quest and the movie together. Haven't finished that part of the story yet, but it madae me want to watch the episodes and movies again
