I just can't express how much excitement I have for this release.
|
Can I say that if they are planning to go old school with this by doing to version as in $200 price point fir all five then like Dino and tiger Zord price point for them in two separate sets
|
Does the phoenix have the legs/stand? It's the one thing not pictured.
Anyway, looks really pretty. The Red Dragon slimmed down just enough to look great~ |
Sweet!
Still don't $200 like it. |

Yeah, it's cool, but knowing it's $200 makes it... not cool.

...TRU still does that, right? |

Looking at these images I can't help but think the new Red Dragon in warrior mode kind of looks terrible. It's really flat and lanky. Just doesn't look very nice to me. I get that there are people who think it looks perfect but it just does not look good to me. That image sort of clinches how goofy the Red Dragon looks to me.
|
I think the Red Dragonzord looks great. It was always tall and thin.

It's the only time where I thought it'd be nice if we could just have the originals rereleased with better paint jobs, but the Thunder Megazord overall is an improvement I think. |

Thing how warrior mode looks it was hit in giving us a decent red dragon mode
|
These look really cool and still not even remotely worth $200.
|
Well Damn.. now I guess I need two hundie.
|
That sled... I know it's still in the design/beta test (it is, right?) but it just looks really crappy compared to the original.
My first zords was the Thunderzord Assault Team. Maybe I'll just get those instead. |

Is it just me or does the lion like very limeish green?

I'm just hoping that it was just forgotten to be photographed. |
Why is this not out now? I need it now!!
|
Looks nice, but it's $200. I could save my money, but I can use $200 on other things. I will wait until a price drop happens.

I think the Red warrior looks good. Not much better or worse than the old one. But the Dragon form is a marked improvement. |
What happened to the Lion Zord? He was scrapped into parts. And the Firebird is forever stuck in skirt mode.
|
The lion was always like that. He formed the chest armor, helmet, and the gauntlets.
|
That is very cool. I hope Legacy zords keep coming.

Looks like a cool set, and I'd actually be really interested in this if it just weren't for that price. I'd say I'll wait for a sale but considering the Tigerzord is still selling for full price in the stores near me, I'm not getting my hopes up. |
Seeing these images makes this an even more day one purchase for me.
The only issue is that is around my daughter's birthday. So I guess I will have to get her something from TRU as well lol |
I love the look of red dragon in warrior mode. The proportions are so much better than on the the original. He is a bit slimmer than the original, but I'll take show accurate proportions over anything. I am curious how the firebird will fit on the arm of the mega tigerzord this time around. Overall I'm happy with what I see. That price is another thing though.

Noticed one or two posts about the sled. And I can tell you, from experience with the original, it's better than the original. I can see snap connectors, which the original didn't have, meaning solid connections. On the original the Zords just sat loosely on the sled. And the only one attached in any real way was the Firebird. Now they all attach and I love that. I also love how small it looks to be. The original was this big bulky thing that took up more shelf space then just the Zords separated without it. This one looks like it was designed to almost be invisible. To look like it's just the Zords flying. I also don't mind the Lion's colors. The green is screen accurate, aside from the chest dome but I can forgive that. And it looks sleeker to which means they did away with the gimmick of the original of having the little Rangers being able to sit inside. Which I never liked. I still really have a problem with the pricetag, but I can appreciate it for it is. But what really made me change my mind about it was what they did with Red Dragon Warrior. My god that thing is a beautiful sleek design. Sitting next to the original the original looks like some cheap knock-off. Big, bulky, ungainly. And the new version looks so much better. Like I said I still have a real problem with the prices of the Legacy Line, but this.. This makes me reconsider ever trying to get it.
