That's it. I'm totally convinced Dino Charge is going to be one of the best seasons ever. :D

Okay this series is looking really dang good at this point, writing is a heck of a lot better and scenes seem to actually have good pacing and good camera work.
|
CALLED IT!!!!! Told y'all Kendall was working for the Keeper!!! *does little happy dance*
|
I don't know why but I really like that the Trex is being called Rexy. Shame there's still butt load of combat dialogue but the rest seems great.
|
I love Judd Lynn.
Only two episodes in and this is far better than what we got with Samurai and Megaforce. |
That was a pretty good episode. I'll admit I kinda am caught on the middle of Chase and Koda already being rangers, but it's not a big hang up. Probably Koda got found with his, and Chase apparently found his fast as well. I kinda lost it at the line about Shelby being chosen for no apparent reason :lol. I will say that Tyler's dialogue during the fight was a bit grating, but the rest were great. Riley is pretty cool and Koda...still doesn't have much to go on, but I like him.
Overall it wasn't as good as the first episode, but it's still pretty nice. I'm still onboard. |
It was a very great episode for me. I enjoyed every single moment. I loved the introduction with Riley and him fighting Fury and finding the Green Energem. It wasn't a surprise that Kendall, Koda and Chase were working for the Keeper, but it was cool I guess. But Keeper... Keeper needs to get his hood on! I don't like his head scales. :lolol I also loved Shelby's reaction to what Kendall said. Too hilarious. :D I agree with Winston on Tyler's dialogue during his battle with the grunts/henchmen was quite repetitive and annoying, but it could have been much worse I guess. Another thing I loved was Tyler calling the T-Rex Zord "Rexy." Koda... well, he's just Koda so far. He's pretty cool though. :)
All-in-all, a Super charged episode for me! If this continues on this kind of path, then I daresay... Dino Charge might just turn out to be my favorite Power Rangers season, throwing SPD down to second place. |
I thought it was pretty good. Though I didn't get why Tyler had to stay behind then after the comercial break he go out. What was the point? But the action was pretty good and the physics defying robot t rex was really funny to me

Alexander Walker played Riley's brother, "Matt" - http://johnsonlaird.com/assets/docum..._biography.pdf

Another great episode. :lolol at Kendall kinda insulting Shelby. And my need for a pet "Rexy" has just doubled lol.

Can someone tell me where I can watch it? I don't have nickelodeon in my cable plan and nick still doesn't have it on their site.

Another great episode. Tyler action and hyperbess reminds me of Diago. I for on think his battle phrase while fighting sited his charater the fact I notice the edited all charagers in sentai footage to have english names on the is one up. Better editing I say then megaforce still having the japanese card.

And already in two episodes of Dino Charge Keeper has done more mentoring and plot development than Gosei did in two entire damn seasons. Also Morgan needs to lay off Shelby. Hear me fictional character?! I realized to from the opening that Fury was missing something, his furry boa around his shoulders. I wondered why he looked skinnier in Dino Charge. I think they're setting him up to be a rival to Sledge. Which I like. I also love Riley. And the acting in this show is amazing by itself, compared to last season it's Shakespeare. The only real complaint I have is Tyler calling him Rexy. And it's not even a complaint I was just hoping for something like Tyra :lol
What was really nice? The batteries say the American names and not the Japanese names. That small detail right there alone proves that they actually give a damn this season. Chip, buddy, you single-handily saved my love of Power Rangers. |

You know what's a nice touch? Koda's broken English. He's a caveman so it makes sense he would leave out certain little words or say "I am hungry" with the inflection he did.
Certainly better than the caveman standard gruntspeak of "Me Unk kill tiger. Now big talk of cavemen. Neighbor Rog jealous of Unk. Ha ha ha, Unk alpha male." |

To say this is already leagues above Megaforce/Super Megaforce is an understatement. We still get little Sentai footage in the beginning and instead are treated to a new battle with Fury and Riley. Him saving the dog Rubik is quite admirable and shows his love for the barking bow-wow. The idea of turning a routine object into a Dino Saber was a wonderful touch, and the realistic drama of trying to push a car with leaking gas is stellar. The new base has a wonderful look to it that definitely emphasizes the dinosaur theme. There are few unexplained tidbits like how Keeper and Kendall meet, but the lack of explanation now makes for some rich storytelling later. For Kendall to insult Shelby like that, it seems she has some sort of class bias which will likely be addressed as time passes. Of note, all scenes with Shelby are just adorable on so many levels. The idea that Koda has to tell her to "click" the Dino Charger is next to perfect. She will undoubtedly become one of the most iconic Pink Rangers in the franchise's history. It was a little glaring when they showed the T-Rex Zord as it already had a Charger in its mouth before it ever received one from Tyler. It was sad that there was no real buildup to Iceage and his attack on the city, and I must confess a little ignorance in Kyoryuger, but why did Iceage look a little brown up top when we first saw him? Either way, there are some definite attempts being made here, and with the recent toy reveals for the show, we are going to have some genuine fun with this one!

You know what I really dig the most?
The small hologram or mini spirit of their dinosuars when Chase and Koda showed offer their energems to the Tyler and Shelby |
So I just got to watch this, and I found it enjoyable , thought there were a few problems, mostly people knowing things they shouldn't, and a whole of talk during the fight scene, as well as cuts feeling too rapid during said fight scene, also where did Riley learn about the Dino Museum from? Honestly it felt like this episode had to cram in a lot for some reason, but you know what, Riley seems really cool, and came off as at least competent, the jokes were funny, and the characters, decently if somewhat stiffly acted, so good job everyone (also over use of the word blast, but that's kind of minor).
