Kamen Rider: Memory of Heroez video game announced
This looks...like it had some serious effort put into it.
After being used to arena fighters and musou-style Kamen Rider games, one that's scaling back to just a small set of riders and seems to be going the single-player action route is mind-blowingly fresh. It looks good and the apparent gameplay segments showing using forms to traverse, memory gadgets and candroids to do recon, puzzle and investigation segments and utilizing both W and OOO's rogues has me instantly excited and intrigued. |
This has my interest raised more than the Battride games did. Helps that they doing a much cast focus.
That's a... very specific crossover! And as someone who adores W and OOO I'm all for it!
Like damn the game actually looks super fun too! A lot of hack and slashing involving their multiple forms is just awesome, especially since W and OOO are from that time when those alternate forms were used a lot and weren't just immediately overshadowed by the upgrades. Makes me wonder if Aruto's gonna get any Biting Shark or Freezing Bear action but from the looks of Metal Cluster I kinda doubt it. Anyone got any translations on this? What's the story here aside from big-bad-man-beats-up-aruto? |
I really want this to have English subtitles! This looks amazing! And I have to agree that it’s a very specific crossover. If anything I’d say it would be Kuuga, OOO or W and Zero-One.
Also, does anyone know what the premium version has extra?

Form changes look to be on a weapon wheel system which is a very good idea to be able to swap on the fly quickly for combos. Also very sneaky to not linger on this shot.

Yeah, it's a premium sound version. Generally speaking that means it'll specifically contain songs from the actual shows; such as WBX Boiled Extreme or Time Judged All in addition to the game's normal soundtrack. It's much more expensive (the game itself is standard price 7600 Yen, but the premium sound version is 11800 Yen) and I have to assume it's a big licensing thing.
Looks pretty cool. Makes me wonder if those are the only Riders in the game or if they're simply the frontliners.
You know me and my friend were talking about how there didn't seem to be a mainline Rider Game in a while since the Zi-O Climax Scramble one. And so we were subjected to Pat's Stand of Crazy Talk and thus this was ushered into existence to spite us.
Speaking of Stands though that is appropriate because hey is that Dio Brando I hear as the main villain?! But yeah this looks, very, very interesting. It actually kinda reminds me of the Agito PS2 game I got glimpses of where it was Resident Evil styled but I believe it only focused on a handful of Riders there too, Ichigo, V3, Black and Agito. So it's interesting to see them pulling back on a large cast as a result. |
And here I thought the Microsoft showcase was going to be the highlight of today. This game looks crazy awesome and it's a Kamen Rider game, I'm more excited for this than Battle For The Grid! I hope it has subs like the last Kamen Rider game, if it does, it's on my list for PS4.

There Foundation X Guardians which halfway expalins it but needs some more context as to why.

Makes me wonder why Fourze isn't a a star of the game, since it's also part of the "Foundation X Trilogy."

Still, though, kinda love this! Wasn't really expecting Foundation X but if that's the direction they're going I'm pretty into it! |
Hey can someone check the casting list at the end? I swear that these don't sound like Renn Kiriyama and Shu Watanabe
It's not only Aruto's actor is on board for this. http://ukiyaseed.weebly.com/ukiyasee...game-announced
I'll always welcome more Foundation X. Them having Guardians makes total sense given the events of Heisei Generations Final.
If my recollection is correct, the last game with Foundation X as a major villain was the first Battride War.
Well that looked surprisingly cool. Might have to find a way to pick this up at some point..
My main concern right now is if it'll have English subs or not. Climax Scramble had English subs when it got its Asian release, so hopefully the same will happen here.
I mean, of course, those subs included things like called Faiz's mooks the "Lion Troopers" so it likely wouldn't be great, but it's better than nothing, y'know? |

English version confirmed. Though Renn and Shu getting replaced really hurts me, these were my first Riders |

That's all I needed to hear! I'm totally adding this to my list.
Oh yeah! Definitely gonna pick this up then!

English subs? That's a buy from me.
This is so exciting! What a great choice of Rider's to focus on, I'll definitely be picking this up. I've always bought my Rider games from YesAsia, is that the best place you guys think?
I've always imported my English Sub games(like the recent SRW titles) from Play-Asia. Never once had an issue with them.
I’m soooooo getting this now. Hope it’s readily available.
This looks like the Battle Ride War games but better definietly looks promising!
An SEA (Southeast Asia) release has been confirmed, which means it will have English subtitles (not a US release). You will likely have to import this the way previous Kamen Rider games have been.
But who knows, Bluefin might be able to bring it here officially... https://twitter.com/gematsucom/statu...90329631035392 |
Missed opportunity to not call it "Memory (W nod) of HerOOOs" (OOOs, obviously)

Yup! Oftentimes OOO the rider (not the series) is spelt as "Oz".
And with Dragon Ball FighterZ (which is actually officially pronounced "Fighter Z" btw) Bandai Namco have completely given up on the letter S.
