Kamen Rider Gaim Question (Sunflower Seed)
All the lockseeds are fruits, nuts or flowers that grow on trees or vines. Except the Sunflower Seed. It's the only seed, and from a flower that doesn't typically grow on trees (the Mexican Sunflower does, but I'm guessing that wasn't the inspiration, and it functions differently in-show to the other flower Lockseeds anyway).
Does anyone know if there's any specific reason they were chosen, perhaps cultural or pun-related, or is it just a random choice? EDIT: Whoopsie, I posted, then immediately noticed the KR General Questions thread. My apologies for the clutter. |
I just assumed the show's producers picked it because Sunflower Seeds are edible. All the other foods that became LockSeeds (aside from Acron and Pinecone) are edible so they probably figured "why not?".
