Even one throwaway line like "I feel the sword's power flowing through me, it's telling me what to do!" or something, suggesting that the techniques of its former master are imprinted on the blade and simply by transforming into Saber, Touma has a basic access to the might of the previous Saber.
But yes, it's Kamen Rider, this has all happened before and it will happen again.
