This was, like so many episodes of Neo-Saban, laden with talking, talking, and more talking. Not even the Star Wars prequels had this much exposition! Having Emma pilot the Command Ship was adorable and felt like a nod to when she used it to save Rico (Robot 1C0) in Megaforce. The battle between Robo Knight and Troy felt like some of the most violent sequences in modern PR. Some say Disney would've have done this season honestly, but they would unquestionably have softened what we just saw. The battle between Drillhorn and Gosei Ultimate originally had help from Datas Hyper and I think they did a good job of leaving him out, but one can't help but notice the visage of Master Head from Goseiger during the final attack. The power generated by Troy to save Robo Knight did not fully make sense, and Robo Knight's succeeding line of "Your voice pierced the darkness that had engulfed me." was just cheap and corny to boot. The new footage of the base destruction when Robo Knight saved Orion tied in almost perfectly with the Goseiger footage and the final battle with Vrak was also something special. Shame they didn't use SkyLandSea Gosei Great from the true Goseiger finale or why they didn't pad these scenes with Gokaiger footage. Couldn't we have gotten Damaras or Levira making some snide comment about Vrak's efforts? Either way, Robo Knight and Vrak are officially dead and Orion lives another day. However, this episode does provide some subtle details to the Super Megaforce Ranger Keys. In Gokaiger, the keys came into being when the 34 prior Super Sentai teams used their full power to stop the initial Zangyack invasion. Here, Robo Knight's key is in full view while the character is still active, and the key responds to whatever might be happening to the Ranger in question. This implies that the keys and the Rangers they represent could possibly be in existence simultaneously.
