Thanks to Netflix, some of us were able to see the final(ish) episode of Super Samurai early. I think you know what to do.

Let me get something out of way before discussing this. Ahem..... It's OVER! Happy Days are Here Again Samurai Is Done and We're Free Again, No More Shitty Acting Again, Sam Yer Eye is Done At Last!
Ahem. Thank you, now onward. Spoilered in case someone hasn't watched yet. The Shogun Mode morph and fight at the end was the best part of this entire episode. And makes me wish they used that thing for more than just an end battle. The whole episode was just alright. Not the best but not the worst. But unlike other finales I didn't feel a damn thing. Mystic Force's ending had me excited. I was cheering when the people of the Wood and the City came together and recharged the Rangers. I applauded when she closed the book and Fireheart flew around the Great Tree. This? I shrugged my shoulders, turned off the DVR, and went back to playing Fallout. I enjoyed seeing Skull return even if just for a minute or so. But not even that made me do anything but check the progress to see how much longer until this was over. Samurai makes me regret everything I ever said about wanting Megaforce to be a DT of Goseiger. And I thought I was happy when OO ended. |

Sentai was right, Shogun mode fight was everthing i had been hoping for and more. The cinatoghraphy used to show the scale of the battles was amazing and I loved mike even more. Even jayden and the others fighting in the messed up megazord cockpit without thier megamodes was a very nice touch. I think I even saw a tommy roundhouse kick and a hiya from mike once that made me smile. The use of the new extended theme was also very nice and over all A prtuy good finaly for a medicoer show. And skull cameo made the show for me. Now bring on goseiger!

This show man this show. Good parts, Shogun mode battle was really awesome and well choreographed and showed how good that suit looks, also Skull cameo XD and I do believe know that Felix Ryan has a lot of resemblance in both looks and style to Jason Narvy and makes me hopes Bulk and Spike come back for Megaforce (Maybe with a better part and actually interacting to the rangers and Bulk and Skull have some connection to the mass army of rangers lead through Tommy). Now the rest aka the acting and the uselessness of Megamode reviled. When the final Megazord sequence happened and it was proven they could have piloted there Zords with the spin swords and barracuda blade it made me wonder even more what was the point of Megamode outer than cool suits and to sell a really good toy in the Megablade, man Megamode should have been used at least once outside of the cockpit, and the acting was mediocre-bad as usually only person to do a good job was Kimberley Crossman and hops out of all the cast of samurai she comes back for Megaforce. Also Mike's relation ship with Emily were the H e double hockey sticks did that come from. Overall Samurai is really mediocre and adapted way to much from Shinkenger (which thinking about it know I kinda wanna re-watch it as I fell the main problem with samurai is how boring Shinkenger's main plot is with out that great cast and characters playing off of each other) it's intolerably skippable if for some reason you deiced to marathon all of Power Rangers. I will say though not as bad as Operation Overdrive as that show was the original reason I left Rangers and sold most of my toys at that time. and now to wait to see if Megaforce will suck or be entrusting.

I was shocked when the episode ended. I went up to my brother (the one who agrees with me) and told him my opinion, and he swore at me. Why?
The ending was, get this, decent. Not great, mind you, but decent. It was as if everyone (except Kevin) just suddenly were hit with an epiphany and collectively cried, "Oh, crap, we can act!" The American footage was a nice change from just adhering to the Shinkenger footage. And for once, for once, the Ranger got the girl/boy! |

Yeahhhh... Why didn't Nick hype the hell out of this episode? Or did I just not notice it?
