I want to talk Simpsons with y'all.
Recently saw some reruns and enjoyed the episode where they go toe-to-toe with Shelbyville for the lemon tree. I just love how they treat Shelbyville as if it was an alternate universe with the counterparts and all. But enough about me. Anyone here have a favorite episode or two?

Now you're talking about a show I absolutely love and grew up watching!
Obviously I love the 2-part "Who Shot Mr. Burns?", but I also liked "Homer's Enemy" with the poor coworker who was driven insane from Homer's incompetence and electrocuted himself. Oh, and any episode with Sideshow Bob. Kelsey Grammer is one of the best recurring guest voices on the show. And the fact that Bob's brother on the show was voiced by Grammer's "Frasier" costar David Hyde Pierce added to the awesomeness.

Pre 2000s era Simpsons is the best, after that the show begins to loose something and I can't stand watching it now.
My absolutely favrioutes are the X Files parody one where Mr.Burns gets mistaken for an alien, and the trip to Japan. |

Pretty much almost any episode of Season 6 (which includes Lemon of Troy/Springfield vs. Shelbyville ep., the first part of Who Shot Mr. Burns?) are great. I'll agree with Kiryu, pre-2000s era is the best. Post 2000s era contains maybe a few good ones but pre-2000s era always has some of the best episodes.

I felt like the early-mid 2000's did had some good episodes, but the 90's was the best years for the show. I haven't watch the show since the movie came out in 2007.

You Only Move Twice will forever be one of the funniest things I've ever seen.
Homer vs. The Eighteenth Amendment a very close second.

Best episode is easily You Only Move Twice. There's pretty much nothing that will top Hank Scorpio.
