To this day Zero remains really the only Ultraman show I've watched, and this guy was a big part of that.

For being only the second release in the Ultra-Act line, I think Belial here still looks really good. Those posable hands are a very nice touch too. Despite having every attention of getting into Ultraman a little bit some time back, I still haven't, but all the same Belial's someone who has been hard to escape being a part of this fandom for a couple years. Even just from his appearance I can get the popularity, because he just looks rad.

I think the weapon is the best part of this guy! I wasn't super fond of the short form, but when I got to the pictures of the fully-extended version, it won me. You can usually get some really cool poses out of staff-type weapons and this one is really cool. The effects parts for it make for some great photos, too.

Loved Ultraman as a kid and seeing some of the designs from the later seasons is just mindblowing. Belial is a super badass design that takes the iconic Ultraman form and corrupts it into something super freaking evil looking that I just love. Can't wait to see the Figuart.

Looks very cool, and it could pass off as a demonic rider if you so choose.

I'm not a huge fan of Belial, don't find him too interesting. Still, this figure looks good, but also like it could definitely use an update.

If I ever find Belial for decently cheap in any way shape or form, I am grabbing him. He's definitely an Ultra Villain I would definitely grab immediately if I got the chance. Plus he comes with all the stuff he needs anyway. I'd personally rather get the original compared to Kaiser, while Kaiser is neat I prefer the original design compared to the red claws and scar.
Plus even if he did get an SH Figuarts release, depending on how it is I might want the Ultra Act more? If only because his size would be a bit more bigger to make him a bit more imposing compared to other Figuarts. |

Again, don't know much about Ultraman, but I do know about this guy. And his design is just perfectly creepy and menacing. Like if Carnage took over an Ultra being.
