If they ever get around to making an Ex-Aid crossover it'll be such a missed oppurtunity to do a PSVR exclusive Creator Gamer form for a boss fight with the guy from Hurricane Ninja!

I got my Switch version and messed around with it a bit. Two things I wanted to bring up:
1. It seems to run fine, I'm not the pickiest when it comes to stuff like high framerates or whatever, but I didn't encounter any issues from playing so far besides the system getting a bit hot. 2. You can redeem the codes in the box by logging into your Nintendo account in a browser and switching your region to Japan (yes, it should be Japan even for the English boxed version). You can then access the Japanese eshop and redeem the codes there and you can still access the DLC after switching your region back to what it was before.

Here's another tip for those just starting out, prioritize playing as any characters other than W or OOO as often as you can. Those are the two you're outright forced to play as more often than anyone else, so you should have no trouble leveling them. Whereas everyone else will get left behind in terms of levels otherwise.

Hands down the character I've used least is Zero-One. It'll be a minute before I max him out. It's not his fault. I am a fan of the series but in this game hes more like an afterthought, and his form changes just arent in the same vein as the others. The character I was most surprised with was Accel. I knew he was in the game, but wasn't sure how I would like him as playable. But man, his Booster mode is fun AF. I feel like it's pretty strong. Maybe I just like flying and swooping down cutting bad guys in half with a big sword... *Imagines how OP a Luna/Accel Booster Mode would be* |

I’m really enjoying it so far. I’m pretty sure the game will not be very long, but it sounds nice that there are higher difficulties and survival mode to give it a bit more substance. I just wish I was a little better at it, I got thrashed when I tried out survival.

Halfway through the game on Extreme Mode now, and I've made a new discovery: Sagozo and CycloneMetal are secret-God-tier.
Both of these forms have mechanics that let you completely ignore the counterattack mechanic if you have trouble with it. With CycloneMetal, the attack that was advertised as his anti-projectile shield actually works on way more that just those. If a boss has an attack where they rush at you, for example, Mezool? Twirling your rod infront of them will not only block their attack if you have RP, but will also absolutely shred their armor. It's a similar situation with Sagozo. His Block actually lets you tank almost anything for minimal RP cost. And his third upgrade increases his armor damage, making him an amazing can opener. His switch-in attack is also pretty good. Not known if these tactics work on the final boss yet, but will be sure to update you all when I find out.

Oh yeah the blocking in this game is stupidly good in regards to certain characters especially if you get the RP cost down.
Sagozo's block helped me out quite a few times. |

I just finished my first playthrough. Honestly it was really fun, and probably had a better plot than most post-show Kamen Rider content. (Anyone remember that one horny W manga no one liked? You shut the memory out? Wise.) The plot almost felt like it was some lost crossover film, and actually one of the good ones! I definitely think the normal battles could be pretty button mashy, but the boss fights were really cool and thrilling, it almost makes me wish the game was just one big boss gauntlet with the grunts cut out entirely. It let me do cool Kamen Rider stuff in a video game, how much more can I want? I would LOVE to see them polish and improve on this base in a future game. I like the idea of one with Faiz and Kabuto characters, with a focus on using their speed to do slow-mo combat.
