That is a nifty piece of vintage, and I do kinda love how ridiculous the sword looks in the large robots hand
I do also love the colorfulness of both the figure and the vehicle |

Ah machineman. One of the more underrated tokusatsus. I love it.

I used to love the Godaikin stuff as a kid. I never had this one, but was always curious about it. Thanks for expanding my toku knowledge and giving me some great nostalgic pics to drool over.
It's been interesting as an adult to learn about the origins of stuff like this. To me as a kid, I just assumed it was a bunch of cool stuff they made up for the Godaikin line. Little did I realize that it all had media.

I'm going to repeat alot of what has been said on this thread, but I like what I see. I like the toy, I like the concept of the series as it has been described and I'd love to watch it play out if it were ever fansubbed. But alot of this like could be that his head reminds me of KR Birth. Anyway, this is now on the list of things to look for in my adventures. Great Gallery Den-o!

Man, that is some old school toy right there. I'm a sucker for vehicles that transform into other vehicles, so this is pretty cool to me.

That design on his chest looks a lot like the megaranger logo. I suppose because both have a letter M motif.

Machine Dolphin is definitely the highlight of the set, for me at least. Then again I'm a sucker the bubble topped cars, always have been. The Jet mode also looks really good. Robo mode...not so much. Looks more like an after thought, rather than a proper mode. It kinda Reminds me of those city Transformers where you transform it halfway and say screw it, not unlike what the designers probably did.
As for Machine Man himself, he looks okay. Very much a product if his time with all that vacuum metallizing. *Shudder* As for accessories, I'm most surprised with the sculpt on Ball Boy, it's rather nicely detailed for the time period. |
