Saigetsu/KR (ripoff) Dark Kiva returns to his homeworld after being defeated by Kaguya/KR Legendary Legend, and he's welcomed by 3 sentient, talking, flying octahedrons simply named the Hundred Superiors which are probably the AI bosses of Hundred. Saigetsu then conveniently pulls a DX Ark Driver out of his rear end, haha. It looks like Hundred have the ultimate collection of all DX KR toys in existence. A Hundred general would simply pull any Driver out of their rear ends should the need arise.
Houtarou forgot about all the events during his visitation to Kaguya's world? No problem! He can regain those missing memories simply by wearing Kaguya's version of Google Glass like shown @ 05:13. So, what was the cause of Houtarou forgetting about the events in KR Legend spin-off in the first place? Well, Butler says @ 05:51 that it was simply caused by a malfunction in the Aurora Curtain System. So, the cause is not due to Houtarou not belonging to Kaguya's world, but simply due to a malfunction in the Aurora Curtain System, which was never explicitly nor implicitly stated, until now. Convenient! Kaguya says @ 06:01 that he knew that Hundred were aiming to acquire the DX Legend Kamen Riser. So, he used it as a bait to reduce the strength of Hundred's military force via the asspulls in episode 33. Butler then adds that that was the reason why he couldn't get in touch with Kaguya in episode 33, basically giving a convenient excuse for Kaguya's absence during the first 18 minutes of episode 33. The damage that happened in Houtarou's world in episode 33 was a collateral damage, as Kaguya states @ 06:13. Houtarou then asks Kaguya @ 06:19 that if he already defeated Hundred in episode 33 then why he's still in Houtarou's world. And Butler simply answers that due to Hundred's attack, it will take some time for Kaguya & Butler to return to their homeworld, basically giving another excuse for their overstay in Gotchard's next several episodes, haha. Kajiki learned of Houtarou's secret identity as a Kamen Rider for the second or third time last week, and in this episode he's already been Neuralyzed by Minato. So yeah, the events in episode 33 is very likely have been erased from the Muggles' memories, as usual. Kaguya then appears and continues causing commotion due to his gaudy appearance. My face when I see KR Gotchard's story is derailed by the inclusion of KR Legend: What is Gigist sensing @ 10:25? Is he sensing the appearance of the talking octahedrons? Haha. Joking aside, the more he appears on the screen, the more I'm convinced that this Gigist guy will end up as Gifu v2.0. KR Legend makes KR Gotchard transform into a Legend Rider form @ 11:28. Only in an anniversary series the main character transforms into a Legend Rider form. Yep, KR Gotchard is officially an anniversary series now. That scene is virtually a meta scene that, whether intentionally or unintentionally, acknowledges the producers' decision to use KR Legend to change KR Gotchard from a regular series to an anniversary/crossover series. Butler acting like an infodump dealer @ 14:59 who elaborates on Kaguya's backstory only raises my suspicion that Kaguya could be a permanent addition to Gotchard's story. Saigetsu transforms into KR (ripoff) Ark-Zero @ 16:54. Buuuttt... If Hundred have already taken control all Kasshine troops and Dai-Mazine units, then doesn't it mean that they've already conquered Zi-O's world? Which means that they've already gotten hold of the Ohma Zi-O Driver? Why bother transforming into KR (ripoff) Ark-Zero when you have the power of KR Ohma Zi-O? Saigetsu should transform into KR (ripoff) Ohma Zi-O and then just summon KR Ark-Zero and other big bad Riders. If he needs Ark's prediction ability then he just tells the lackey Ark to do so. This is Saigetsu's last ditch effort and it's screwed up by his lack of common sense. Saigetsu is still defeated and returns to his homeworld, and the Hundred Superiors "reward" his failure by killing him and transforming him into a giant time bomb. What an asspull. Oh, and there's something strange here. If Saigetsu is already at Hundred's homeworld, then why does one of the talking octahedrons say @ 22:30 that "this world has just begun its countdown to destruction"? The female octahedron says @ 02:49 that the world where they reside is Saigetsu's/Hundred's homeworld. So, does this mean that the talking octahedrons are about to destroy their own homeworld? Haha. I get that the intention is to destroy Houtarou's world, but man... The logic is screwed up and ends up becoming (unintentionally) funny. And Kaguya is just able to sense the octahedrons' plan? Another haha. Next week: Finally, the appearance of the rumored Ark-One Malgam. I hope that episode 35 will be the last episode that features KR Legend. I hope Gotchard's story is back on track after episode 35. ...Or maybe not, because there are still several Reiwa Legend Riders that haven't appeared, such as KR Geats, KR Revice and KR Saber. So, maaayyybe Kaguya/KR Legend is here to stay until the very last episode? Maaayyybe Gotchard's story will be permanently derailed? I hope I'm wrong on this one. KR Legend's ability of being able to summon 2 Riders (while Decade can only summon 1) may be due to the use of KR Zi-O's Legend Rider card that grant the ability to summon different forms of 1 Rider from different points in time. When will Nijigon debut? I can't see at all how these messy episodes connect to Nijigon's debut, but I think he'll probably debut at the earliest in episode 37 in the last week of May, or at the very latest between episodes 38-40 in early June. PS: Kaguya's transformation poses that combine Tsukasa Kadoya's and Daiki Kaito's, the identical announcement voice and the similar sound effects, and KR Legend's transformation devices that consist of both a belt and a gun more and more convince me that KR Legend is the replacement for KR Decade and KR Diend. PPS: Where the frak is KR Zein? He appeared very briefly in episode 33 and then just vanished like smoke, haha. |
