Oh man this figure looks so cool! The level of detail is great so I can see why this was such a popular release. Having seen the comparison to the old figure too, you can really see how far these figures have come

This is definitely the definitive figure for Wizard. Honestly not a hard competition when the only other options are a sofubi, a pretty solid gimmick figure, and the pre-Shinkocchou hoop skirt Figuarts disaster. I'm glad that Wizard finally got the Figuarts he deserves.

I was kind of willing to forgive some of the original release's flaws, but just standing these two alongside each other on the shelf really accentuates them and highlights how the line is continuing to progress all the time. Each Seihou release I get continues to blow me away.
Only thing I'm not super crazy about are the rings. Had some difficult getting them to plug into his hands initially.. and I did drop one in thecarpet that took a while to find. Seeing that the old effects set still can be used is really cool by the way.

I feel like I'm not even looking at a toy when I look at Seihou Wizard.
I feel like I'm looking at the actual physical suit for Flame Style, and it is INSANE how Tamashii Nations pulled this figure off. |

For the longest time I defended the regular Figuarts Wizard release, but mine barely holds together anymore thanks to an unneeded gimmick and I just can't do it any longer.
This guy is gorgeous, glad to see one of my favored suit designs finally done proper justice.

Wizard was my first Kamen Rider series (not counting the America adapt shows), and I have always liked it, and one part of it is Wizard's suit design, which looks awesome in this figure.

Wizard's design is always one of my favorites, particularly Flame Dragon, but this looks awesome.

I watched a lot of KR's to prep for this year's galleries, and Wizard was one of them. Really enjoyed it, up until right before the end. That being said, he's got a cool design, and the toy looks great. Glad they saw enough potential to remake him.

I just realised one thing this gallery missed: a Heisei Generations groupshot. I've been waiting to see that groupshot actually look good with Figuarts!
