1. I think Muto is going to be our guy, if anyone.
2. I have a gut feeling Sanjo is going to be adapting Fuuto P.I. himself. 3. Takahashi is possible, especially since it's announced he's not coming back for the next season of Lupin III. 4. Yonemura is fully committed as the head writer of both One Piece and Pokemon Journeys. Sanjo might handle P.I. himself that's true.... Then I'll adjust my guesses to: 1. Mutou (Build), or someone new I still feel like they might do a new writer. If I were to make a total shot in the dark guess I'd say Hiroki Uchida who was a two episode guest writer for Saber, might have been to test the waters, see what audiences thought? Yeah no, I doubt it, but I gotta have at least some wild guesses still 2. Takahashi (Ex-Aid/Zero-One) Toei seems to just love this guy, and I liked both his shows a lot, I know ex-aid is a bit divisive, but I like his over the top and stylized vibe 3. Another Fukuda (Saber/Ghost) situation Not literally Fukuda, what I mean is Fukuda is a writer I did not think would ever get a second series, even though I honestly like Ghost, it just had too many problems so I didn't expect him to come back. They could toss in a total curveball and give us the last person we'd expect. Maybe Kento Shimoyama (Zi-O), or Tsuyoshi Kida (Hibiki/Wizard)? Or maybe neither, but just a weird "Huh, who could have predicted that?" style choice. I think this option would probably be a huge mistake, I just think it's a possible huge mistake for Toei. This is probably my last really wild guess. Is Inoue busy these days? He did work on a couple episodes of Zi-O, and he did the very recent Zi-O specials.... Still I just doubt his return too much for him to make my list, but it did cross my mind so I thought I might as well mention it. Last edited by TheJaz; 05-29-2021 at 07:29 PM.. Yeah, Kiramager made 4.5 billion. Ryusoulger and LuPat were maintaining 6 billion and that was even considered an all-time low at the time.

Here's a full translation of everything Cranejo said about Revice during his livestream:
https://www.reddit.com/r/KamenRider/...eb2x&context=3 A lot more descript than it was initially described. Revice's colors definitely sound a lot better now, in my head I was picturing a neon green and not an emerald. Really glad we're getting a smaller driver, although I'm not sure how I feel about the gimmick being so huge, usually that type of size is reserved for upgrades |

I don't have a problem with Muto being Revice's writer, but my personal choice is Yasuko Kobayashi but knowing she was busy with JoJo (she was the main writer of JoJo part 4 & 5 and likely will be the main writer for Stone Ocean too) and seem unlikely to back

I'm gonna say that Kobayashi is probably unlikely to come back in general as the lead writer? I wouldn't be overly surprised to see her work on an episode or two or some spin-off miniseries like Inoue, but when she wrote Toqger she did state that was intended as her last work on Sentai. While that of course is Sentai and not Rider, I think it points towards a desire to move on from Masked Hero Toku in general; which I'm not too surprised at given the wealth of material she's contributed to it!
(She did write Amazons after Toqger, but I think that's actually evidence in support of this rather than against it; given how drastically different it is thematically and demographically compared to your Den-O or your Go-Busters)

Yeah, I believe Kobayashi's last toku writing credit was the Den-O scene from Heisei Generations Forever (which is no doubt why that scene felt pitch perfect as a tribute). She didn't even write the Amazons movie herself, that was Takahashi (though she did supervise it). I don't think she's been an episodic writer since Decade either.

In general as other people have said I don't feel like she'll be returning to weekly toku anytime soon. Honestly writing the majority of a 45-50 episode long show in the span of just one year sounds absurdly difficult, so despite Kobayashi being genuinely my favourite tokusatsu writer of all time, and how badly I want a new series from her...... I just don't see her coming back. Maybe she'll do another season formatted series like Amazons or something Garo related again someday... And you never know weird things can happen maybe we'll see her return to weekly rider to provide another masterpiece, but realistically I just don't see her coming back to show-run a year-long series with weekly episodes again, and I can't blame her, writing a rider or sentai series seems incredibly challenging. (Also just as an aside I believe her most recent work with Toei is supervising the script for pretty Den-O, though she did not write it. This isn't super relevant but people here are talking about what she's done for Toei recently, and that is the most recent) Quote:
