Lupinranger VS Patranger, hands down. Two opposing teams is such an interesting idea, but due to the plot favoring the Lupins, the Pats can't win, which can be worked around but eh. Then came Noel's smarmy ass and finally, the toy sales gave the staff the wrong lessons, the Pats were more interesting too, Pat1 had character development (The fact I'm praising a character for this is a red flag) and was honest to god the best character in the show, Pat3 was pretty cool and likeable, with her episodes standing out the most to me in a good way and Hilltop was a cool mentor character with all of the 8 minutes of screentime he was allowed to have but the Lupins just took literally all of their screentime and did nothing with it, you know, what people say about Daigo but for 4 bland ass characters and not exaggerated. There's more I could go on about such as the borderline braindead plottwist involving Noel and possibly the worst Sentai episode I've ever seen. I was really looking forward to it too

You know, I keep realizing I literally can't participate in threads like this, and I don't know whether to be sad about the profound loneliness I feel, or happy about the fact that I've still never seen a tokusatsu series I actively dislike.

Be glad. Celebrate that you can find joy in things others can't. It's an honest gift to have.

I'm sorry, but Gaim was a massive disappointment to me. Although that might be less because the show itself was bad and more because it was overhyped to me. I went in having heard that Gaim was this brilliant masterpiece that everyone loved, but what I saw was just decent. I mean I didn't hate it or anything, it had its share of bad points but plenty of good to make up for them. But to this day, I still don't understand what all the fuss was about. They made Kouta suffer and have to sacrifice? I guess that's cool, but it's not that remarkable. Honestly I'm so tired of writers who think "wait, but what if being a superhero sucked?" as if that was some big new idea when it hasn't actually been new for decades, but that's a rant for another time.

I will say Ghost is the one I really disappointed the most
When they announce the rider who is dead by episode 1 will be traveling around the world in order to collect 15 eyecons, I thought it sound like a fun idea for a Rider show and have them doing creepy ghost stuffs. But then I watch the show all the way and..... WHAT THE HELL? The hero didn't actually travel around the world and he collect 15 Eyecons in JAPAN!!!! What a waste of opportunity to explore different countries! The show is a mess and it was a very frustrating experience as it give me more fatigue as shows go on. Say what you want with Drive but at least the writer know the story of Drive, Ghost on other hands, the writer completely didn't know the story of Ghost and throw every pointless plot elements to stretch the show including that Makoto's doppelganger storyline.... (Was that necessary?) I keep watching the show so I could hope they give us an interesting story but nope! The show keep on back and forward on the show being a supernatural show to a scientifically-explain show. (PICK ONE!) Ghost and Wizard are the reason why I'm so hesitant of potential next rider being supernatural shows and I blame their head writers for not planning the storyline for the show early on. If they bring back Takuro Fukuda (Head Writer of Ghost) for a potential next rider show, I refuse to watch it cause I don't want to go through same experience as Ghost did to me. I hating when a writer don't plan a storyline early on and throw pointless stuff at us. |

Pretty much everything after agito that inoue has touched; he should be shamed and humiliated for his terrible writing, blacklisted from the industry and forced to live in poverty for the crimes he has commited. The idiot who made the base kiva suit should also be subjected to said punishment because they ruined a perfectly good suit by making it too heavy. Pretty much everything about kiva makes me angry. I wanted to like it SO MUCH, but just like with faiz and kabuto; the only good thing was the suits.

Most of the times I'm disappointed in Sentai is because the MOTW-type episodes don't keep my interest. Zyuohger was one that I fell off of hard.

See it like this, you're able to find enjoyment out of stuff other can't, in today's world where negativity thrives, the fact there's someone who just looks at anything's strengths instead of focusing on flaws means that they are truly strong and refusing to give in to negativity
