I was curious if there are any thoughts? I've read mixed reviews on it....I REALLY like Goranger so I'm trying to see if it's worth the purchase. Thanks!

A little darker and less comedic. One of the Ranger characters died before becoming a cyborg! Probably one of the closest instances when Sentai reached Showa Kamen Rider status in terms of "heroic cyborgs".
Big One remains popular in some respects to this day. The main kicker is the length. Gorenger is 84 episodes, but JAKQ is only 35! Pop culture reference when you see playing cards with Nintendo on them (an example of their pre-video game past). |

I thought it was a neat little show. A shame that it didn't do so hot.

I appreciate the feedback. I do like the Big One character from what I have seen. I guess I will give it a run to see although I am not expecting as much fun as Goranger

Yeah, its failure mostly seems to be because the kids in Japan at the time just didn't vibe with the darker tones than the quality of the show.
