Am I the only one who thinks this will lead to a re-release of Drive Type Speed in a couple of years that includes gripping hands and both Handle-Ken and the Door-Ju? Plus a tire or two? SHF Kamen Rider Drive: Fast and Furious-Edition?
Because I totally see that happening. And this will be the figure I'll buy, since I only care for Type Speed but want the sword and the gun with it. The goal with the Drive figuarts is to make you buy everything. That's why all the tires and effects all come with different figures. I could see packs of just tires that weren't released as first release bonuses as a Web Exclusive though. Quote:
There have been very few cases where a figure has been changed/updated upon a future release. Excluding renewals, the only one I know of off the top of my head is Skull, the Crystal version got a new head and paint job. But that is also technically a different version of the character.
I don't see Bandai making a new bubble for Drive with the missing accessories when they were sold with other figures. They're trying to get you to buy figures you might otherwise not, that's why they split them up in the first place.

Pretty much all recent phone cameras have pretty excellent image quality. A big factor when people often talk about poor image quality isn't so much the camera, but the lighting. Also don't zoom in with a phone camera, it's just digitally cropping while making it a lot harder to stabilize. Just crop the photo afterwards. A common cause of blurry images is just having the camera too close to the subject. Even if your camera has a macro mode, there is a minimal focal distance for all lense, which is why Macro lenses are a thing. It's always better to move back a bit and crop than be too close and out of focus.
Lighting is probably the easiest thing to fix. If you don't want to build a simple light box, just grab two lamps, place them left and right of your subject and cover it with some white paper or cloth to diffuse it. Oh try to avoid firing a flash directly on the subject, its going to blow out the details and give it really harsh lighting. If you do fire the flash directly, try to place a piece of wax paper over the flash to diffuse it as much as possible. But seriously, lighting is crucial. |

Indeed, in my experience, lighting makes the biggest difference. My iPhone 4S took decent pictures with good lighting. If the lighting is JUUUUUUST right, my iPhone 6 takes pics pretty much as good as my real camera. Granted, it's a very inexpensive real camera, and it does require everything to be just so for the iPhone.
With good lighting, even a cheap ~$200 camera like I use can take really good pictures. |
