Lachesis shows her true colors when she states her intention of betraying Glion. Although, she's kinda disappointed in Minato on how he didn't go straight betraying him. Now that Minato is pretty much powerless, who is she gonna join forces with? Houtarou and his club? I hypothesized about her and Minato joining forces and secretly sabotaging Glion's plans for several episodes, but I was wrong. It turns out her true intention is outed by Glion effortlessly in this episode. Sigh. Another underwhelming development that had a great potential. It could be better.
As stated @ 08:30, the chemistry that Glion has been waiting for for 10 years is the opening of the door of darkness via the fusion of all 10 level 10/level X RCC's. He says that the door is made of all those RCC's, of which he already has 8. One of the remaining Chemies (Dragonalos, Fantastic 10) is actually stored inside his beloved Rubik's cube. That's probably what has powered his cube all this time. Funnily enough, in several cultures the letter X can also mean death. Dragon Malgam states @ 14:54 that Dragonalos and Gaiard were the first Chemies created and were the basis for the later level 10 Chemies. It's thematically consistent where dragons are often depicted as mythical creatures with great destructive power, and Gaia/the Earth is the place of the creation of life. The fusion of Dragonalos and Gaiard is the fusion of the power of destruction and creation. I wonder if KR Gotchard can actually access these RCC's. It'd be better if these RCC's are used by the new villain Rider, preferably the user of the ancient Driver I've been hypothesizing since episode 12 here because they fit nicely with the theme of ancient, primordial forces. Perhaps Houtarou's dad will finally show his face? As Dragon Malgam overwhelms all the Riders, Fuga appears and transforms into the new Rider, KR Wind, which fits his name. It's visually similar to KR Majade due to the use of the same attachment unit. He manages to defeat Dragon Malgam and reclaim the Dragonalos RCC and Gaiard RCC, buuuutttt... He dies (again!) after being stabbed in the back by Glion?! I don't buy it. Like I've said several times, this man's got many tricks up his sleeves. As implied by himself @ 21:04 and stated by Isaac @ 21:50, he may be using a surrogate/prosthetic body, probably created via similar alchemical methods as Glion's homunculi. That kinda explains his "death" in episode 1 where he was seemingly disintegrated by The Sisters. What was destroyed was merely one of his surrogate bodies. He can simply activate a new one if the current one is destroyed in a mission. His real body may be stored somewhere else, hidden from anyone's view. As I hypothesized back in episode 4 here, his modus operandi is likely similar to Sennin/Edith's from KR Ghost. Oh, and I smell there's a TTFC-exclusive spin-off/miniseries coming that will focus on Fuga/KR Wind and his backstory. It's like what they did with KR Vail: Tease a new Rider with a nice costume for just one episode in the series, and his real action is actually in the TTFC-exclusive spin-off/miniseries. If that's indeed the case, then I hope it will also hint on Houtarou's dad and his connection to the story. That, or Fuga will simply reappear with a new surrogate body in later episodes, haha. Next week: The decisive battle for the fate of the world! What's actually the door of darkness that Glion has been hyping up? What power does it grant to the person who opens it? Can it actually grant someone the total control of the Ouroboros? Glion will also debut as KR Dread Type 2 (using Repli Steamliner and Repli Daiohni cards) whose left hand looks like KR Beast's Buffa Mantle. This episode will be the debut of Cross Hopper (Hopper1's level 10 evolved form) and KR Platinum Gotchard. How does Hopper1 evolve into Cross Hopper? Hopper1 and the other Chemies used by Glion to open the door of darkness are seemingly "dead" and disposed of in the Ouroboros world. Houtarou will probably somehow find a way to revive those Chemies and their revival helps evolving Hopper1 into Cross Hopper. |

Caught up with Gotchard. What can I say? I still love this show. There is an overwhelming naivety about him and he really overdoes it with forms, but it’s not annoying. I have a feeling of going back to basics, but not even the 2000s, but even earlier, during the Showa era, only with modern effects and needs. I especially adore the constant threat of absolute disaster against which, nevertheless, there is always a way. It seems to me that this is exactly how Wizard should have been filmed so that he would not seem boring. Without falling into despair, but with a constant threat of it. But going back to Gotchard, I worry whether they'll be able to maintain the same emotional power for the finale.

Regarding the 26th episode. I expected a denouement in it, but it turned out to be only a prologue. We learned a little about the history and hierarchy of Chemies. Kamen Rider Wind performed beautifully, but quickly left. Geryon won as befits a villain: with a sneaky stab in the back. We were also told that Fuuga was an alchemically created double. I assume that the person who died in the first episode was the same. This means that his words to his daughter are not consolation or meta-commentary, but the truth, because the real Fuuga is most likely still hiding somewhere.
As to why he didn't use his power earlier. Fuuga talked a lot about young people who should realize their dreams, which means he wanted to prepare them, not overshadow them. The show states quite confidently that it is what you create that is valuable (the example with the igniter earlier), so if the Wind did all the hard work, then the young riders would not get anywhere. Also, I'm not sure that Fuuga is capable of fighting for a long time and often. Age and forbidden alchemy have a bad effect on health (I’m sure in the future they will show how Geryon pays for his power). |

I wonder if Atropos really feels no love towards Lachesis, or if she's just forcing herself to be cold to refute Rinne's claim that she desires friendship. This must be why Geryon favors her among the Dark Sisters, while Clotho clearly doesn't want to see Lachesis get hurt and only goes along out of the same fear that Lachesis feels. Quote:

Humorous how Geryon is still after Houtarou's GotcharDriver to complete the door of darkness, even though there are now 4 of them with Wind's debut. Geryon should seriously just make his own at this point, since he already has full access to Alchemy Academy's resources! Quote:
