Whoa, I had no idea that TokuNation is still only five-years-old! I thought it would be a bit older.
I would go into my history with the site but my story isn’t as exciting as everyone else’s. LOL, is there even a story to speak of? But yes, Happy Birthday, TokuNation! 🎂 I know I’m not as active in toku-related discussion as I probably should be but I’m grateful for my time here and for all the friends and memories I’ve made♡

Kickback, thank you for being a mentor to me during my to-short tenor as mod of this website. You, Den-O, OOO, Baltan, and everyone else made this website what it is today. You built something here that I remember people saying wouldn't work. But you all made it work. And thanks to that, on a selfish note, I made a lot of good friends. A lot of us made a lot of good friends. This website means something deep to all of us. I can't believe it's been five years already though, and that's something incredible in itself. You should all be proud of what you've done here. Thank you for letting me be part of it.

It's old in regards to internet time lol. I joined TN when the Wii U was coming out and the PS4 and Xbox One were simply known as Orbis and Durango.

I'm kind of surprised the board lasted this long. I remember some people saying to head to the more active Rangerboards due to their larger user base.
I'm pretty happy TN lasted, though. It's a lot more cozy and quaint. More personal, and a lot easier to get to know everyone. Even when the boards sometimes go bone dry (It's so difficult to not quadruple post when doing a series play-by-play simply because no one else is talking ), it's still just a ton of fun~

My history with the board is I googled for Super Sentai forum or something like that and found this place, so I joined. Now I have a place to talk about Sentai and Rider. Exciting, huh?

It hard to believe that I joined this site all the way back in the summer of 2013. It was the discussion of the SDCC toys for Super Megaforce that got me into this site. It's kind of amazing to think that so much time has passed by since then. Seeing so many faces come and go, through out the past few years. I'm kind of amazed at how this website has managed to remain a pretty consistent size all this time. Now this website is my first forum I had ever really browsed through or joined. So this website does hold some special place in my heart and sometimes I get nostalgic about all those Gaim discussions that happened. Wow amazing how fast time flies. Well here is to many more years to Tokunation. |
