Damn you! That was a good dance! In the second version of the ending when they had the Microphone it was hilariously awesome.

I've been thinking over the episode and I thinkvi realized why it seemed so different.
Aside from the scene where Enter uploads the virus onto the steam shovel the entire episode was basically just one continuous fight scene. |

Just finished watching the raw for it.
First thing that stood out that this did not feel like a conventional Sentai show at all. Had something different about it, but I can't seem to place it. No roll-call or big and flashy debut transformation which was weird. I think they might save that for Mission 2 though; I heard a lot of narrative dialog in this episode which I assume was just explaining the concept of everything. The mecha fight stole the show for me. I've watched bits and pieces of a whole lot of Sentai shows, and this is by far THE best mecha fight I've ever seen. I really hope it continues. Quote:
Oh, and what is up with all of the Power Rangers homages? The "It's Morphing Time" transformation scene, the villian's mecha being called Megazord Beta, and the beeping sound from the original ranger's communiators. Next we'll get one of the Buddyroids shouting, "Aye yai yai yai yai."

Just watched the sub. Loved the episode, some real promise in there
The real time stuff was excellent, and the mecha battles was one of the best ones in modern Sentai IMO. For some reason not only does the scale seem much bigger, but it also feels like a less-conventional Sentai. Can't wait to see how this show pans out. Still hoping Over-time pick it up for subbing though, Harorangers translation wasn't bad by any means but I had quite a few nitpicks with it.

I'm liking the look of things so far. The first episode felt a bit rushed (did they ever mention the blue Buster's name - if so I missed it), but by and large it was still a solid debut. So far it's reminding me a lot of SPD (and presumably Dekaranger) with the more military organization, the villain mechs, and the team's red showing up late and kicking ass - none of which is by any means a bad thing. I like the suits and gear a lot - the teleporting weapons thing is a nice change from stuff just magically appearing - and CB-01 is just amazing. I kinda want to get the toy of that, even though I know it's going to be damn expensive and is probably already sold out everywhere. Still, the triple changing thing is cool and the Transformers fan in me loves how Lockdowny the car mode looks. The bot mode is where it really shines, though, and the first mech fight was really well done - it felt a lot more mobile than they usually tend to be.
I can't say in all honesty that this wowed me as much as Gokaiger's premiere, but I am definitely intrigued enough to keep watching. |

I think its gonna be a good series thats gonna take some getting used to.still trying to get used to the mech battles.i am glad that the episodes badguy doesnt have to pilot it,so there's room for some major fight scenes each episode.I think the mech fights seem bigger cause the swings of the enemy mech are slower, and the camera angle is lower.

Just watched the first episode and it seems very promising. Some quick thoughts:
-I would have liked some interaction between the team but it's not like we won't see that anytime soon. -From what we saw of the Buddyroids though I quite like them, especially the Gorilla who reminds me of Deneb a bit. -I really like the digital motif/aesthetic the villains have, though I want to know more about them story wise. -I'm a bit afraid I may be too tough on this show because I loved Gokaiger so much and this has come right after, so it's going to be difficult to not compare one to the other.
