Yeah AmiAmi does this from time to time now and it's stupid.
Because why would I let a day pass and see everything sell out at other sites just to gamble that I get an order in with their shitty servers? Basically means I won't order there. Which I generally do anyways because I don't get pre-orders in on their site anyways, but now I can save myself the page refreshing marathon. |

Pre-orders are live at Anime Export, HLJ has them on the frontpage but I can't seem to access them.

Never used Anime Export. Are they a good site?

I used them a couple years ago and have some stuff on preorder with them. I haven't heard anything bad about them.

Ok, googling them sounded rough, but pretty much all of the stiff I could find was nearly a decade old. I'll give them a shot this time, since after an hour HLJ's listing is still broken and I'd rather not play this game again tomorrow with Amiami

I use AE for Web-Exclusives for like 2 years now, ever since Nippon Yasan started getting sketchy. And I throw in the retail releases there that sell out on AmiAmi.
The Transformers fandom used them longer, the site has been around for a while, and the only stuff I've heard during that time is that their customer support is very - nonexistent. Which is nothing new in this hobby from my experience. Never had a problem with them myself, and I saved a ton of shipping because they hold stuff ridiculously long in their warehouse. Which comes in handy during global issues that hinder shipments and that sadly happens way too often nowadays. |
