That's the same argument I made but TokuKnight thinks "media reflects society". If it does happen, it probably won't be until 2025 at the earliest.

Context also matters, because unless they reiterate their goals every episode, the abundance of kids (And their parents) who tune in after the premiere likely won't catch that the robbers are doing what they're doing for a good cause. Much like Bandai/Hasbro's reluctance on adapting ToQger due to their worries about whether their target demo is interested in trains, making LuPat just has too many possible risks involved.

Either way, both Lupat and Kyuranger were shot down as possibilities by an official source -- it's the only time we've ever had something as concrete.
I think the fact they are shooting down possibilities like that - something that's kinda huge for competitors as it gives them a greater idea of what to expect from your toyline the next year - suggests they might just be stopping adaptions soon.

I expect either no more adaptations (likely a couple years break to get ready for Enwhistle and or animated projects), or one more adaptation (most likely Zyuohger) to bide time until one of the reboot projects is ready.
Either way, I don't see typical PR lasting too much longer. |

I really do hope that they keep it live action if that's the case. That's like, one of the biggest appeals of Power Rangers.

There's a difference between kids playing cops and robbers, and actually portraying a team of heroes as active thieves and burglars.

Either way, I don't see typical PR lasting too much longer. The best possible way to get around it is to do some kind of pre-episode blurb or narration like what we've seen in the past be it in Ninja Storm or Samurai to keep the dialogue from being clunky and repetitive. I do see an animated entry coming, but I also feel that something else is in play that we aren't privy to. I get the feeling that Hasbro will attempt a completely original live-action entry, but I think the deciding factor is whether or not it will be co-produced by Toei, though this is just a theory on my part! Hasbro will probably treat this like Transformers and do multiple stories across multiple mediums. It's just taking much longer than expected. |

I feel Hasbro is taking their time, to try and do things 'right' as there is a lot that needs to be done if you're gonna make something new and largely if not wholly original. They seen how the last reboot failed, even if it was imo, mostly really well done. And Hasbro is a company that largely understands and supports its adult fans as well as still appealing to kids. So whatever we get, I feel will be an honest attempt to be something both old and new will enjoy and still be true to Power Rangers... I just have my fears that if we go Animated it will end up being MMPR til the end of time, like how Transformers has largely just become G1 til the end of time.
As for next adaption, with Kyuranger and Lupat outta the running, Kiramager is the only series I think would work well. I seriously doubt Zhyouranger would do well because the zords/mecha are awful, imo. The cube stuff leads to designs that look lazy and phoned in (not saying they actually are); and I can't see that selling all that well over here. I could easily see people thinking they are preschool stuff, as the average consumer isn't gonna know or care about the sentai. Like I do agree conceptually that Animals would be more appealing then Crystals; just toy wise I think the Kiramager stuff would just look better on toy aisles then Zhyouranger stuff. Plus Kiramager's multiple megazord combinations would also work with how Hasbro's been selling zords for Dinofury. |

Kiramager didn't have multiple combinations. It had 3 weapons, and King Express being able to use either Smog Jouki or Zabyuin. Everything else stood alone.
That aside, with the modifications Hasbro made to the Dino Fury megazord, I think they might be able to change up Zyuohger's zords into something that could be more appealing. That said, I dunno. I'm not a kid and I don't know if the blocky aesthetic could appeal to the kids and their Minecrafts.

I don't think we should equate quality of a show with decisions on whether or not they are adapted. I mean say for a random example ToQger, there might be some people who like ToQger that don't care whether or not there is a Power Rangers version so just because you like X show, doesn't mean it was actually the right decision to adapt it!
