On July 18 the SuperHeroTime block will air a special 1-hour episode titled "Movie Release Commemoration: Combined Special!" This will apparently be a teamup between Super Sentai & Kamen Rider to promote Super Hero Senki.
Once this airs, there will be no new episodes of the SuperHeroTime programming blocks for three weeks due to Olympics coverage. |

Three weeks of no Zenkaiger?? That's the most cruel thing Toei has ever done

Oh hey we're getting one of those again?! Sweet!
So if nothing happens to further stop new episodes of Saber, then we'll probably be ending at 46 Episodes if I did my math right? |

Why? There are lots of Japanese dying in hospitals and homes due to COVID-19 Pandemic! 86% of the Japanese people want the 2020 (2021) Tokyo Olympic Games cancelled due to COVID-19, but Toei and TV Asahi has no choice but to interrupt the Super Hero Time schedule to give way for the Olympics. Before, when there's Olympic Games during the Showa Era and the Heisei Era, there were almost no interruptions while they aired the special coverage of the said international sporting event. Now, during the Reiwa Era, things have changed! So, Kamen Rider Saber will be ending up in a cliffhanger, just like Kamen Rider Zero-One last year whereas Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger, I think the number of episodes will become lesser than Mashin Sentai Kiramager (45 Episodes) and it too, will end up in a cliffhanger. What's wrong, Toei and TV Asahi? Are you gonna ruin the anniversaries of Kamen Rider and Super Sentai due to COVID-19 Pandemic and the Tokyo Olympics? Now, the televiewers are so dismayed of this news!

Holy shit, really?? A majority doesn't surprise me too much but 86% is a lot higher than I expected; where'd you get this?

I looked it up and yeah, the general consensus seems to be that people are not happy with it over there. But suppose this goes as scheduled, I guess Revice will start airing around late September or early October.

Either that, or Saber will be only 46 or 47 episodes, depending on if they count the crossover as an episode for both shows.

I've got a feeling it's every other country that wants the Olympics, so Japan has no choice, I'm guessing.
Either way, I don't think Zenkaiger or Saber will end early because of this, since Decade being a shorter season didn't stop W from airing immediately afterwards. So I think both shows are going to be fine. |

As the olympics is a thing completely out of their control like Covid last year, it's just gonna be the case that they'll have less episodes rather than shifting Revice's (and Sentai 46's) toyline debut a month later for no reason.

Not to mention at the very least, unlike Covid, they were probably made aware ahead of time the likely cut amount of episodes and how many they'd have left.
So they were likely able to prepare compared to Zero-One which was a real big gamble. |
