I think it was me who asked, because that seems like the sort of request I'd make.
I love the progress you're showing! The newest one is a big improvement in line-weight, in proportions, and in shading. The body language is good, too, and it's something you've had a handle on from the start. My one suggestion would be to add a little more work to your faces. They're a little undefined, relative to the rest of the drawing. Some more time spent on that part could really elevate your work. Thanks so much for sharing! Also no problem.

Someone asked a while back to see some art of mine, but I never could figure out how to downsize images, so I guess here we go.
Was playing around earlier gathering different drawings of a character of mine over the years, and I guess it shows some of how I've gotten better (even if I'm still bad lol) Please don't come out super huge.

Looks great! My only criticism would be the eyes. Most of the facial expression is expressed by the eyebrows and mouth, while the eyes are mostly rounded with few variations for the facial expressions. Having a better grasp of eye shape during facial expressions would help you a long way (example, an angry/scowling face would have more narrow eye shape compared to happy face). Not that I'm one to talk when it comes to eye shape...

Ooooooooh. In that case I'm definitely curious to your other characters.

wellthisisawkard.
Looking at them all, I guess there isn't a huge amount of variance within the faces, so... definitely something I need to work on.

After seeing the news regarding the next Transformers movie (and the resulting back and forth between fans), I think it’s safe for me to say that I’m done with Transformers as a whole. Not going to explain why, just feel like it’s time for me to move on.

I sense more room for improvement, but yeah I am under the impression that by 2021 your art style is starting to show finesse and you are gradually building up your own style. Looks much neater compared to the previous iterations. I sorta get Danny Phantom/Nickelodeon cartoon vibes from it as well. That said, I like how your current style looks well-proportioned, but if you have not had the chance to check out anatomy drawing books, I suggest giving it a glance or two for reference sake while further improving on your own style and I think this could lead to bigger things. Keep at it.
TL;DR Looks nice, keep at it. Never checked out anatomy books because... yeah idk, all that immense detail tends to scare me off. Not that I've thought about checking one out in a while, so maybe it'll be less intimidating now. Finally, thank you! 2020-2021 was the time when I started referencing other art, so that probably helped with improvement.

Perhaps one of the methods I use for reference might help. Since we're all familiar with Tokusatsu, and being live-action is even better, looking at Sentai, Ultraman, anything that gives you a good look at the basic outline of a human body helps. I'm told drawing from real-life is the best way to draw, and as someone working to improve my own art, also upgrading from an old cartoony style, this is something that has helped me out.
