Pretty low, in all likelihood.

Of the choices currently available? It’s up there. It or Lupat for sure, though the source footage of even the mech fights are unconventional for each. Guess it depends on what next year’s show looks like

When did Sentai start using CGI?
And on a related note, modern mecha/weapons/monsters tend to look more toyetic and sleeker than older suits/props. Does anyone think there's a notable series where it shifts or if its a gradual evolution? Any ideas on what the underlying reasoning could be? |

I think they started to use CGI with Gingaman IIRC.

Megaranger has CGi in the henshin sequence, and it has been quite some time since I watched Carranger to know if it had any, but I'd wager Megaranger was the first one. Seemed a good time given the tech theme going on.
EDIT: I might have been mistaken. I was thinking of GoGo V's sequence, but at the same time, it does seem they had a generic CGI stand in body before the suit appears in Megaranger, so technically not wrong, but I mixed the two shows up, whoops. I've been thinking, based on how the visor of Liner Boy is shaped, I do wonder if the design started as an early draft of a possible support unit for Megaranger but was canned only to be repurposed when they needed something new to sell for GogoV.

Interesting question, but did they have to modify the design in order to allow for combination with Victory Robo or was Victory Robo designed in such a way that it could combine with the (finished) Liner Boy from the onset!?

A potential add-on for either Galaxy Mega or Mega Voyager perhaps?
