Virtual War: Ridefighter
(Imagine Kamen Rider Ryuki in VR/Metaverse) In the near future, virtual reality is commonplace and the metaverse is gaining popularity. Many things of different varieties occur within the virtual reality and one such thing is the Virtual War. Hosted by a man known only as Kuroshiro, 18 people of different backgrounds from all around Japan were invited to join the war. Each person will be given a smartphone-like device called the Ride Soul. When the Ride Soul is activated, each person can transform into a Ridefighter. Each Ridefighter holds a contract with a Virtual Beast that they can summon and a set of weaponry that they can access to help them in them fight in the war. The sole survivor of the war will have his or her wish granted. An up and coming YouTuber with a happy and cheerful personality joins the war as the Dragon Ridefighter and partners up with a cold-hearted female detective who is investigating the war itself and what really is going on. As they fight one another to hopefully win and get their wish granted, a dark secret about the war and Kuroshiro himself will be uncovered bit by bit. Series tagline: This war is like a wilderness. Either hunt like a predator or be hunted like a prey. If you don't fight in this war, you won't survive! (この戦争は荒野のようです。 捕食者のように狩るか、獲物のように狩られるかのどちらのかです。この戦争で戦わなければ、生き残れない!Kono sensō wa kōya no yōdesu. Hoshoku-sha no yō ni karu ka, emono no yō ni kara reru ka no dochira no kadesu. Kono sensō de tatakawanakereba, ikinokorenai!) 1. Dragon Ridefighter & Dragrizer M 2. Eagle Ridefighter & Wingle F 3. Shark Ridefighter & Surgebiter M 4. Chameleon Ridefighter & Bieleon M 5. Scorpion Ridefighter & Venostinger M 6. Hyena Ridefighter & Riot M 7. Bison Ridefighter & Taurons M 8. Bear Ridefighter & Kumador M 9. Lion Ridefighter & Valeon M 10. Praying Mantis Ridefighter & Kirigama F 11. Squid Ridefighter & Colokraken M 12. Wolf Ridefighter & Lycanther M 13. Destrier* Ridefighter & Crusabeast M 14. Bee Ridefighter & Hunt Hornet F 15. Gorilla Ridefighter & Kingpuncher M 16. Kangaroo Ridefighter & Jumpuncher M 17. Penguin Ridefighter & Snowflapper F 18. Mammoth Ridefighter & Gigatusker M *Note: A destrier is a type of horse most popular for being the ones bding used by the medieval knights back then. Ride Soul: Smartphone-like device. On the device itself, there are 3 main buttons: the activation button on the top right side of the Ride Soul (like a standard iPhone or Android phone on/off button) to activate the Ride Soul, the latching button that can be pressed to properly latch the Ride Soul onto the Ride Buckle and properly transform into a Ridefighter as well as the Off button on the back of the Ride Soul (the back of the Ride Soul has the emblem of each Virtual Beast as well and is the one facing the front, but still technically the back of the Ride Soul) to press together with the latching button to properly de-transform back to each user's human form. Unlike normal smartphones, the on and off button are two separate buttons. On the screen of the Ride Soul, there are several 'Warpings' app icons, similar to the Advent Cards in Ryuki which can perform the different Vents when properly scanned through each Rider's Visor. There are the different Weapon Warpings (like the different weapons Advent Cards), the Defense Warping (like the 'Guard Vent' Advent Cards), the Virtual Beast Warpings (like the 'Advent' Advent Cards) as well as the Final Finish Warping (like the 'Final Vent' Advent Cards). The Illusion Warping (like thr 'Trick Vent' Advent Cards) as well as the Copy Warping (like the 'Copy Vent' Advent Cards) To activate these things, simply latch off the Ride Soul without pressing the off button, then, just like how someone will open up an app on the smartphone, each Ridefighter can choose which 'Warping' to choose from. Once chosen, the Ride Soul will be latched back onto the Ride Buckle to activate the Warpings. Some of the Weapon Warpings include: Slash Warping (bladed, mostly sword or sword-like weapons) Ex. Dragon Ridefighter's Dragon Sword (a normal sword) or Eagle Ridefighter's Featherblade (small dagger modeled after a feather) Shot Warping: (weapons that allows for shooting bullets or lasers or missiles or whatever) Ex. Hyena Ridefighter's Shotblade (a special case, it is a shotgun-like weapon with a small knife-like blade attached to the bottom of Shotblade's muzzle; it can be used as a slashing weapon too by pressing the Flash Switch button to quickly switch to it's bladed weapon form. It is still considered a Shot Warping and not a Slash Warping though, as it is more often used in its gun form than in its bladed weapon form) as well as Wolf Ridefighter's Howlcannon (gauntlet that shoots energy bullet that electrifies and immobilizes enemies) Strike Warping (weapons for striking) Ex. Scorpion Ridefighter's Stingwhipper (a normal whip modeled after a scorpion's tail) and both Gorilla & Kangaroo Ridefighter's Puncher Arms (heavy punching gloves-like weapon); Gorilla Ridefighter's Puncher Arms are Green whereas Kangaroo's are Red. In this series, both Ridefighters are siblings skilled in boxing and kickboxing respectively, that's why their weapons are the same (but with different colors). Etc. When you transform, you shout out Activate! (発動, Hatsudō), just like how the Riders in Ryuki will say henshin. When transforming, the Ride Soul will say "Ride On!", and "Ride Off!" when de-transforming. Last edited by joedragon72; 03-07-2022 at 11:39 PM.. |
