The wife and are on episode 27 of Den-O and just finished the first Den-O film, "I'm Born!". Good movie (if a little confusing at times). I love how the show led up to the film. Doesn't happen very often in Hesei-era shows! I'm hoping my Den-O belt shows up tomorrow. Stupid US Customs...

What is the general feeling on Kiva? I sampled the first few minutes of episode 1. I really like his design and bike, but that might possibly be the worst Rider theme song I am aware of. I am still interested , just wanted to get an idea of what to expect.

I think Kiva has the best rider theme song and the best opening video.
I thought Kiva was an excellent series. The two time periods is really good and well done despite it making it look like the characters of the 80s are useless, the character development, especially for Kiva, is top notch. The best since Agito. The costumes are awesome, the Fanguires kick ass, and the fights are great. I do have some complaints about two things later on in the series dealing with time travel, but outside of that, Kiva is a solid series. |

Just finished episode 36 of Den-O. Got to see the introduction of Liner Form. Not bad! Although the number of forms are getting ridiculous at the point (not that that's a bad thing IMO). I know there's at least one other form to go (G Liner I think but I don't know if that's movie exclusive or not like Wing Form was). Still loving it! It's got a good story and it's hard not to like the Ryoutarou as our hero. Definitely becoming one of my favorite series. We'll finish it Saturday more than likely.

Anyway, Kiva is a very mixed series. You can probably find a lot to love, but there's tons of melodrama (Once the love triangle stuff hits), the comedy reaches a dead halt, and the overall feeling is like dead air during the late middle portion. It's certainly worth a watch though.
