In terms of Reiwa SHFs, so far for me it’s been… Vulcan and Naki; and after that I’m only planning to get Rampage and maybe Zero-One. I’m starting to doubt Revice will be a big fav of mine despite loving everything about it, so I’m not sure I’ll pick anything up there… might change though

I currently have/ on pre-order:
-Thouser -Valkyrie -Pink Jin -Saber -Alpha Edge Z -Blades -Z Original -Dragonic Knight -Saikou -Jaou Dragon -Ikazuchi -Ultraman Trigger Vulcan Shooting went to me cousin, so I can grab his upgrade forms And then these I'm planning for: -Burning Jin (If I got money to spare and find him on the wild) -Kenzan (Slash to if I get tempted) -Sabela(Durandal is a maybe too if he shows up) -Xross Saber (If I gots that final form money lel) -Zero Two -Rampage Vulcan -ZAIA/Black Thouser (Maybe, if it happens) -Ark Horobi -Revi/Vice -Revice Secondary -Revice Q2 rider Maybe I got too much in my hands lol. I'm definitely gonna try limiting myself on Revice. It's bad enough I have to buy two for the main rider, hah. I'll stop at the Q2 rider, hopefully. I'm more than happy with Figure-Rise standard model kits. So I'm more likely to look at Figuarts that I think won't ever become a model kit.
I had the Figuart Zero-One and ironically the Entry-Grade of all things made me like the Figuart less. It just looked too thin in some areas and I could never get it to pose right. And as a customizer, it was great being able to put an LED in his head and not feel bad I was ruining a collectible toy. So if they ever do Reiwa Figure-Rise model kits, I'll be super ready!

FRS Faiz and Ryuki look lightyears better than those old Figuarts, and Decade and Agito FRS give the SS a run for their money. I'll glady pick up any FRS kit that looks better than outdated figures. Already ordered Fourze and can't wait to see what they do with Blade
As far as pre-orders go, I only have Ohma, Grand, Shadow Moon, and Original Z on deck. I'll be picking up Revi when the time comes. As far as Vice goes, history says the second retail figure won't go for that much in the aftermarket |

To be honest, when they make an SS Faiz, I'm going to be strongly considering it. It's just such a good design and I can see it being beautiful. I still have SS Kabuto despite there being a FRS kit.
The SHFs I have preordered are Grand Zi-O, Ultraman Z Base, and Buster. If we get a model kit for Ultraman Z, it would probably be Alpha Edge. The other two I don't imagine we'll ever see a kit for.

If they decide to make a model kit, though, I'd be glad to pick it up as well. |

It's the shoulders, I feel. When you put the arm up, the shoulder armor leaves its intended position and you lose the bulk of the shoulder. TARAI_YOU has a fix for it though and it's a massive improvement. Aside from that, I think it captured Nawata's leaner look well enough. I may have to pick up the incoming 50th anniversary version.
If they decide to make a model kit, though, I'd be glad to pick it up as well.

Yeah, that person modifies almost all of their SH Figuarts Kamen Rider releases. His Zero-One Rising Hopper also has a completely reworked neck(it's thicker and made of some kind of stretchy material to replicate the look of the suit). The original release has a small neck compared to the suit.
The shoulders are really the one downfall of SH Figuarts. It totally makes sense for action figures to maintain the 360 degree rotation for the arms - especially for something as high end as SH Figuarts. However, because of that, a lot of poses will make them look a little skinny since it just isn't accurate to the suit. Some of our recent releases have the shoulders attached to the torso, like Calibur and Saber's dragon pauldrons, and I think it really works. I honestly don't think a 360 degree arm rotation is ever necessary for a lot of figures(especially when they have huge shoulder pads it ends up looking like a mess anyways) but I understand that it just makes them overall feel better. -Jabbed wires on his head to thicken his head to match Nawata -Electric tape(?) on the neck to thicken it as well -Attach shoulders on both the torso and arms to match the suit's movement of the arm -Cut up the entire torso and bulken it up, detach the torso armor from the joint proper to make it shift up and down like the actual suit He's insane, but amazing work. And for someone who puts care in details like this, it's nice to hear from him he didn't feel the need to modify the Saber SHFs since they match already. Granted, though, I feel Blades should be shorter just for character accuracy's sake since Rintarou is very short compared to Touma and Kento. |
