So this is something that I've been curious about. The recently announced Beast Lord, combining the popular transforming cube figures with a 3rd party interpretation of the Dino Megazord/Daizyujin.
Lucky Cat has already done 2 other combining figures, a cube version of Transformers' Devastator as well as Voltron. I think it looks really interesting, but I want to know if anyone here has had any experience with their products before, and can tell me the quality and stability of them.

The Voltron figure is very impressive. Quality plastic and a solid combined mode that didn't feel like an afterthought. I actually think they are a really good deal, Tokullectibles had it up for $70 at one point, and for that it was a steal.
I didn't end up pre-ordering it, but they also tend to be somewhat easy to find once released. I'm always fascinated with the smaller scale stuff, but I've got too many Daizyuzins at the moment.

According to Hasbro and Bandai, you can never have too many Daizyujins
Anyway, I'm glad to hear their quality is relatively high. I was mostly concerned about the combined mode, since my experience with 3rd party figures is that solid individual pieces don't equate to a solid combined figure. So if the Voltron is relatively solid, I'm feeling this one should be, too.

Got my copy in today, and I've been liking him a lot! I'll try and put some pictures later, but the build quality is solid. Some joints might actually be *too* tight, but nothing like I fear I'll break them. The thighs are diecast, while the rest is plastic. I've gotta adjust some tolerances but I think it was worth the purchase.
