I never said "DX" Tokyuoh..XD
*This thread contain little sarcasm on design of Tokyuoh. Please don't take my opinion too seriously. It is just grumble XD I made and captured this just for fun. Finally, I can understand why Toei and Bandai confirm the design of Tokyuoh like this! They pursuit minimalism & simplism because of kids! If its looks and combination are simple, then every kids could make their own Home-made Tokyuoh in their home! with glue and colored papers Bandai and Toei so loved the kids so maybe they decided make that simple way and throw away complicated combination system. How thoughtful..! Nah, it was just gripe. Every year, when new design comes up people always grumble with new zord. I just accept decision of Bandai and Toei almost time. because designs were not that bad before. but Tokyuoh..? they could make better. they have millions of better concept designs. even simple coloring change will make tokyuoh looks better than now.. As a Super sentai fan, I really feel sorry about that design.

The thing I don't understand is why use Kyoryujin as a comparison. Cool as it may look, it's not really the pinnacle of transformation design. Whatever faults Tokkyuoh may have, at least the combination is not so heavily skewed to the Red's.

But I just wanted grumble with design of Tokyuoh toy, so maybe I didn't have to upload as "VS" title. Actually, Present of Kyoryujin on those pictures are not for comparison.

And sadly, the paper model does show how simple TokkyuOh is. I don't mind, but can't deny that it's simple. Anyhow, I'm sorry you're so disappointed in TokkyuOh, I hope the mecha down the line would be more appealing to you.

First off, that papercraft is amazing
But yeah, I have to agree with ComicGuy. Kyoryuzin is just a transformed T-Rex with some boxy arms attached (and doesn't even use all 5 core characters) which never really impressed me all that much. TokkyuOh may be more simple, but it feels much more like a combined effort to me.

and I really expect there will be more good additional combine system for Tokyuoh. Quote:

Kid will easly drawing their favorite robot." but sadly, "easily drawble robot" does not mean that "Kid will like that design". :P I just hope there will be more cool combination than this.

I really just want the clips to be durable this time. If they can do that, all design faults are forgiven.

I don't really see the problem with him comparing Tokyu Oh(papercraft looks nice) to Kyoryujin. It's not supposed to be "amazingly intricate design vs. amazingly simplistic design", it's just "this year vs. next year".
