Well besides keeping up with Gaim I'm currently watching watching Blade and am up to episode 8. I really don't get all the complaints I've heard about Blade's first episodes being slow. So much action happens in each episode and it's building up such a good mystery while still giving enough answers to keep me satisfied. Also despite having so many 'main' characters they each stand out with their own personality and motivations.
Then again I just finished watching 555 so I might just be happy to finally have a show where things are actually happening XP. There were things I loved about 555 but the middle episodes just killed me, and normally I don't even mind a slower pace I got through Wizard just fine after all. |

Finished X Episode 21, and that was a fantastic end of Apollo Geist, and I think my favorite episode of X. It was like he went through a Capcom game fighting the monsters again. He was just investing finishing moves out of the woodwork, which was totally awesome. Really showed off both Keisuke and Apollo Geist, great fight and end for him. Totally intrigued to see who King Dark is and where this goes from here. I think I heard of him from either a future series or the Manga I'm not sure.
UPDATE: Finished X episode 22, and wow the series has gotten much better with King Dark, the plan from the villain Genghis Khan-Condor was great, the action was great, and the storytelling got better. Really picked up with that last episode and this one. I feel they got the focus on to Keisuke, Tachibana, Chiko, and Mako instead of random people and that helped. I see I am on the Historical figure villains and love it. Genghis Khan-Condor would only been better if he was Genghis Khan-dor lol. Oh how I love you X Rider. After watching more of Kamen Rider X, I am starting feel that Kuuga definitely had some Showa era elements to it a lot. Probably why I enjoyed Kuuga a lot and X a lot too. Figured out where I saw King Dark from before today's episode, he's a boss in the All Kamen Rider Generation 2 game for the PSP that I've been playing. I thought he looked familiar. X definitely has great, stand out Villains.

Alright so I may be overdoing it but.....
Finishing Wizard, Catching up on Gaim, and watching Kuuga. So far all three have been good. |

Blade gets really really good however in the middle of the series there is a slow storyline that does payoff though. I love Blade, I think it is one of my top favorites.
I actually love Faiz a lot, and I thought a lot happened through out it but I enjoyed the characters a lot and viewed it differently. Really my big problem with Faiz was the villains, Lucky Clover was a joke. Sure they were intimidating at first but even as early as episodes in the twenties had them often losing or tying with the heroes. I almost gave up on Faiz after Saeko and Takuma try and threaten Smart Brain's president when he treats them as just underlings saying that they were the ones who were powerful and that they had stolen both Faiz and Kaxia belt. Which was simply not true as Kaido stole both of the belts which was something they hadn't been able to do, and then they lost the belts while using them which made them extra pathetic as they tried to act like they were some big bads. The fact that the next string of episodes had the plot going in circles with useless melodrama due to people just not talking to each other (which would of helped keep the plot from going in circles)and the only reason for most of the fight scenes was due to Lucky Clover trying to get a new member, who kept dying in the fights. But I made it through and the latter episodes more than made up for it, |

That's great to hear, like I said I enjoyed Wizard and genrally I love slower paced stories so I'm sure I will enjoy it. And really despite complaints I did enjoy Faiz(enough to preorder the RAH Faiz 1.5). I loved Kusaka and Kiba and enjoyed the rest of the characters as well and even during the middle when the story grinds to a standstill(especially from after Kusaka leaves the group till when he comes back) it was the characters and the character drama that was what kept me watching.

But I made it through and the latter episodes more than made up for it, Yeah now that I can agree with you on the plot, but from what I've learned from reading up on the shows on TVTropes.com (Be careful you'll be there for hours) is that in Japanese Culture you don't normally express your feelings so that's why they don't talk as they should Takumi and Kiba. Which leads to Kusaka finding them easily manipulable. I know the plot kind of had the run around a bit, but I felt the duality they did a lot with both sets of main characters was done exceptionally well. Also lots of not talking about things lead to some very funny parts too. It felt very realistic to me because I went through a period of having friends who didn't talk and had lots of drama, and sometimes still do. However you absolutely have me that Lucky Clover was a joke, except for Saeko, and I absolutely loved Kitazaki, The Dragon Orphenoch he was strange and something else. I think the most wasted thing of Faiz was Delta honestly. It should've been someone who could've been useful with it besides Mihara. I think Kaidou or Kiba could've pulled off being Delta very easily. Also if you loved the characters in Faiz, than you will absolutely love the characters of Blade, I think they are absolutely some of the best.
