Hey Folks I just thought this would be a fun thread since a lot of us love toys along with toku.
So What are Y'all favorite/top toku toys? These don't have to be toys you own, just ones you think are cool. So for me The Gamer Driver: Favorite Driver from my favorite show. Just a massive chunk of plastic that activates great sounds in the gashats. Arms Action Line: Don't own these but they always looked awesome with how interchangeable they are SODO: Of course this is a top, I love this line, and it's probably one of the best in the field at the moment covering swaths of eras.

for me..
Figure Rise Standard (Kamen Rider Series) : such a good toy(line), this toy(line) is arguably new, debuted in 2018 with its first release, Kamen Rider Build. with pretty good detail, 1/12 scale, lots of articulation, and low prices, this toy(line) could be a good alternative to SHF. Rider Hero Series : a toys intended for children, RHS comes with a decent detail and paint, using a very durable Soft Vinyl material that is safe for children to play, with a cheap price, this toys is good for collection. I'll continue later

I'm a fan of the Figuarts, but over time, I've lost the ability to really collect them due to their increasing prices (Granted, it is with a quality increase as well, which is nice, but still, I'm broke)
As a big Transformers fan, I'm always keeping an eye out for a cool mecha. I love both my original Ninja Megazord and the Super Minipla Kakure Daishogun (Part of me still wants to grab a Legacy Ninja Megazord, too ) FLASH KING PLEASE And despite it being inferior to the SOC, I do love my Legacy Megazord and Dragonzord, too. The Figure Rise models are super swish, and I'm just in love with the Lightning Collection.

SHF Kamen Rider Zero-One, really one of the most solid figures I've held in a long while, ZI-O and Geiz being second place. Tight joints, and actually coming with universal open hands, makes it really worth. If you can find him for 40$ and below him, he's a must-have. |

I have to agree with you completely about Sodo and the Gamer Driver, even though I only have two gashats. I think I’d also say that the build line looks really fun and the shakability just adds to it.

Hmmm... I’m on break at work, so mind if I just throw out a random figure I like for the moment? Seihou Amazon! He was on sale on BBTS so I just went for him and I’m so glad I did. I do wish he came with just a couple more accessories, but every part of the Amazon suit is replicated perfectly; the articulation more than up to standard; and you get some great surprises like a moveable jaw and fin. And he’s surprisingly spiky in all the right places! My first Seihou pickup and I was not disappointed

As for personal favorites... Honestly, I kinda adore the RKF line for what it was at first, a cheap way for me to test the waters with KR figures. I have four of 'em on my shelf (RIP Grease), moved them back there when I started collecting Figuarts instead. I displayed Sento and Banjou in a way I'm pretty proud of. oh yeah, the DX Ridewatches are fun and obnoxious too. |

My all time favorite Toku toy will always be the SHF Armored Black Ranger.
The figure itself, while not bad, is definitely dated at this point, and even back when it was released it had issues like certain joints being way too stiff. But here's the thing; It's the action figure that got me into toy collecting. I never really cared for toys until Bluefin posted promo pics of it all those years ago. And man did they make it look awesome. Sure, the Lightning Collection version does fill its $20 price point better than the SHF's' $70, but I don't think I'll ever replace this thing. Even if I don't display it, I'm definitely keeping it locked away in a safe spot for as long as possible. I owe this thing that much, atleast. |

Converge figures are my absolute favorite. They are small, highly detailed, and great for people like me with limited room to display collections. But most importantly: it's a line of figures Bandai has stuck with long enough (since 2016) to see all the lead Heisei riders, many of the secondaries and some obscure/little screentime suits.
I can't tell you how many lines of figures I've got into only to see them discontinued and now I'll never have a full "set". For as much as I love SODO, I'm really hoping it lasts long enough to see the whole gang. Seriously is there another on-going line of figures that is relatively easy to collect and covers all 20 Heisei series? SODO? RKF? They have a long way to go! Another thing I love about Converge is that the line is shared by some of my other favorite properties like Gundam and Ultraman. They all look so cool together! I'm definitely smitten with Figure-Rise standard model kits. They are fun to build and look amazing for their price. As a replacement for Figuarts- no kidding they are about the same price Figuarts used to be, now that the $100+ SS have been raising the standard for figures in looks and price. In the same vein: Super Mini-pla are astounding. I consider myself a seasoned model kit builder, and the Super Mini-pla line continues to knock it out of the park with amazing detail and superior articulation. I actually heard that Bandai essentially has two teams: The Spirits Team (DX Toys, Figuarts, (Blue Bandai Logo)) and the Shokugan Team (Candy toys, gashapon (Red Bandai Logo)) and they "compete" on toy design and engineering. Super Minipla is Shokugan but they punch at the Spirits level, and I know some of the spirits team has got to be envious of what they've done. |

My current favorite for Rider is RKF, they are cheap but still have lots of articulation and though not the ideal scale, they are closer to 1:12 than 1:18. My favorite line from "back in the day" is definitely Rider & Monster series from Ryuki. Each Rider was packaged with their contract monster, plus the figures didn't make use of diecast like the Souchaku Henshin figures of the time. (Souchaku Henshin was the predecessor to Figuarts, and I believe that's what the S.H. in S.H. Figuarts stands for.) Plus if you got Ouja, you actually got all 3 of his monsters and they could even combine into Genocider (Which I still have on my display shelf to this day) |
