This guy looks kitbashed even if toy line form... If I watched VR Troopers, I might be interested in this guy somewhat, but it's from before my turn.

I'm impressed they actualy went and molded the head to be the origonal MMPR helmet for the toy rather than try and change up the look for the toy. After seeing pictures of Kikaider it looks like its both a knock off of Power Rangers and Kikaider a double knock off....do those work like double negatives? XD

That is exactly what thus looks like. I never watched VRT though I was aware of it and have seen bits and pieces. I may have to go back and see these suits in action cause damn that's fugly. For some reason I do love the repaint MMPR helmet though. It is 90s janky in the best way and at the same time worst way.

Battle Grid Mode never made a whole lot of sense when I was younger, and rewatching the series now, it still doesn't make a whole lot of sense. BUT! This toy is very cool! I remember seeing this one on the pegs at KB Toys, but I never saw it get reduced enough for me to pick up. Still, a cool throwback to a bygone era. Great gallery!

This toy is practically the 90s in a nutshell. It's just so weird and wonderful.
My love for HeatTrigger can almost completely trace its origins back to VR Troopers.

Take care of that. Its actually a very important ingredient for time traveling back to the 90s. Through the Battle Grid.
