For those that saw the first half of Power Rangers Dino Fury on either Nick or Netflix what did you guys think so far?
I watched the final 5 today and as was the case with Ninja Steel and Dino Charge there was a strong story to back up the Rangers. I actually felt Hasbro pulled the first half off great. As for the US plot it was good. I like where Dino Fury is going so far and unexpectedly another fav Power Rangers series. I hope the 2nd half is as good in 2022.

I’m always gonna maintain my opinion that Hasbro made a very poor decision by not adapting Kyuranger for 2021/2022 and holding Dino Fury until 2023 for the 30th anniversary.
That aside, absolutely DID NOT expect Lord Zedd returning at all, ESPECIALLY when Evox’s crew knew how powerful and dangerous he was and brought Goldar back (Goldar Maximus) instead of him. I figure since he fled his first priority must’ve been to reclaim his Z-Staff (and more than likely probably raided either Grid Battleforce OR Evox’s dimension to get it back), and he’ll probably be the main villain in Super Dino Fury.

I figure since he fled his first priority must’ve been to reclaim his Z-Staff (and more than likely probably raided either Grid Battleforce OR Evox’s dimension to get it back), and he’ll probably be the main villain in Super Dino Fury. There was clearly a desire to get something out of Kyoryuger VS. Go-Busters for some time. The Snide suit ultimately came first, and when they finally got around to using the footage (or misusing it cause it could've been better), they decided to make it about Goldar "returning" instead of making a completely new character (Sorry, Zeltrax! Not classic enough). In any event, they used the crossover as inspiration to justify bringing back classic characters (even if Beast Morphers was already doing that to some extent). The whole thing about old weapon props stands out as some are holdovers from recent years, but I feel like some had to have been recently fabricated. The original Z-Staff was so cheap that they had to tape it. The only other prop I can think of is the version that was used years ago by Thrax, but I'm still not buying it. I'm convinced that they intentionally made a new one for a purpose and Beast Morphers laid the groundwork. I also feel like Zedd is going to become increasingly more involved in the franchise (Mighty Morphin' all the way cause that's how they think now). No sense in making a new suit unless you intend to get some long-term use out of it. No sense in introducing new suit one season after making references to the character the suit represents unless this was always the plan. No sense in having old character/new suit make reference to a missing prop unless that's the setup for the story to come. With the upcoming release of a 'Zedd Head' Helmet, I can easily see a role-play Z-Staff on the horizon. Now all we need is a Zedd costume for Halloween 2022 and we're set! For all the complaints and arguments about the Hasbro Era being little more than an extension of the Neo-Saban Era, I feel as though the main draw is the long and drawn out story arcs across multiple seasons. Individually, each season is fun and charming in its own right, though a little lacking for one reason or another (usually related to the Neo-Saban pattern). As a whole, there is more at work, with plans that have been discussed well in advance. It implies that creative forces at work can be quite analytical and intelligent with this franchise to some extent. Let's hope they can stick the landing!
