As both a trans woman and a horror movie lover, I love that this is happening. It's nice to see a transgender actor playing a classic movie icon. I consider this to be big news in the LGBTQ+ community.

Didn't they just reboot Hellraiser?

Well, as long as it keeps to the Cenobites not actually being villains like they forgot after the first two movies....

They made a few direct to video sequels that stand out on their own thing. The rights went to Clive Barker and he is now producing the new movie with David Bruckner (The Ritual) as the director.
