I mean, as long as you're not throwing them around the place, yeah! I'm as delicate with them as I am Figuarts and they're fantastic, I've basically just abandoned Figuarts for any main Rider aside from my three favs. It's absolutely a very good alternative to Figuarts if you don't want to throw 60-70 dollars at a toy every month

As stated these kits aren't really toys. They're posable and won't fall apart, but you can't handle them like a Figuart.
As replacements/substitutes for a display, though? That's debatable since they need wok to reach the levels of Figuarts paint work, a natural tradeoff give the price. I have nearly every one so far and they have supplanted my SHFs as the "top shelf" centerpiece. They're just more affordable, consistent, and I greatly enjoying building and painting them. |

Side by side, there's no contest. A Seihou Figuarts is a stunning recreation of the show suits. For the most part they pose better, last longer, and maintain value better. The stickers on the model kits will eventually wear out or fade. And unless you're a prolific painter and you have the stuff and skill already available, buying paints for an FRS to meet Figuarts quality will have you already approaching the cost of a Figuart anyway.
Also worth noting that some Figure-Rise standard kits are more durable than others, but they are definitely not meant to be handled too much.

I think you guys are really making them out to be way more fragile than they are? Don't give them to a 6 year old but as long as you're being sensible they're absolutely fine to handle a bunch. Mine have constantly been fine, there really isn't anything to worry about

When I was in Japan, I bought a Kamen Rider Snipe LVUR figure and I really liked it. It wasn't as detailed as the figuart, but it got the job done and is a lot more affordable. Unfortunately, nothing like that seems to be coming out for older Riders (like Black or Den-O, two that I'd love a figure of) so when I saw these, I was hoping it could be a more affordable alternative. But for some reason, buying a model kit of a Kamen Rider doesn't sit right with me? And honestly, the images Bandai Hobby US are posting on Instagram look...kinda cheap. So that's why I'm asking

It's 3D model render, it's not gonna look nowhere near the actual thing. But I will advise painting to get rid of the cheap look. I did it for my Kuuga's red and it fixed my problem with it, being the hollow red plastic.

Are they going to do all the bikes in the FRS line?
