My guess? It's the most recent ontop of not being tied to any series directly, and hence was the easiest for the US team to get their hands on without having to commit to a specific line.

I agree. This figure is also opening up around the same time in Japan so it was an easy simultaneous release. Was there even any PB rider figures in December? I?m just recalling the OOO movie stuff that went up in November
