Hi everyone, this might be sort of a specific request, but I'm hoping there are some real experts in here who can help me.
What I'm looking for are examples of serialized, multi episode stories in Showa era toku shows. I don't mean two parters, I mean more like four or more episodes. For example, Ultra man Leo's Terror of the Saucer Race series or the eight-part Hakaider story at the end of the first Kikaider series. Stuff like that. I know these are sort of unusual for the Showa era, but that makes them all the more fun, I think. Anything from the 60s, 70s, 80s, or even early 90s would be awesome. Thanks for your help! |

The one that leaps most readily to mind is Black RX's Demon World arc, which ran around its late teens to early 20s. Both Black and Black RX also had final arcs that covered the last four or five episodes.
A good portion of X Rider's last half is loosely serialized around the search for some ultimate weapon parts. |
