I remember when the block aired Power Rangers back in the day from 1993 to 2002. It's a shame that the block went defunct in 2002.

It was alright, but I can't really say that I missed it, primarily because, during the end of it's run it really deteriorated. Much like a lot of Saturday morning blocks.

It was fun while it lasted. Good times watching MMPR, X-men, BTAS, Eek The Cat, Thunderlizards, etc.
But times have changed and I won't be so butt-hurt about it. However, if FOX decides to bring it back, fine by me.

Saturday morning blocks started to die out in the 2000's decade. The early-mid 2000's was when Saturday Morning blocks where on their final legs. Fox Kids died out in 2002. Disney's One Saturday Morning died out around 2002 or 2003. Fox Box and KidsWB! ended in 2008. Last year was when they died out for good. Sure TMNT and Power Rangers airs on Saturday mornings and Transformers, Pokemon and Sonic Boom do too, but there is no Saturday morning block for them.
Kids these days can have parents record their shows for them or watch them on Netflix. Or buy the whole show for them on DVD or Blu-Ray. |

Vortexx would have work if they had it during the after noons and had better shows. A lot of them where just older shows and not newer shows kids would want to watch besides Digimon Fusion.

They had Justice League Unlimited, TF Prime and Spectacular Spider-Man, but that was near the end of it's run.
