I liked this episode. Though it did feel like it should have been a two-parter kind of arc, like it really felt fast! Ikki big brain tho haha.

I do appreciate that the evil Rider for an anniversary series has his main form based around the iconic Bat Kaijin, although it looks like they're giving the Spider to another Rider. Although Evil has the Shadow Moon dynamic of the "evil" brother.
Ikki's dad trying to seem more competent and knowledgeable to impress his kids. Some Ikki and George fanservice. Here's Vice, everybody! Also, Great Detective Vice! Not the first evil or morally dark lawyer in Kamen Rider, although come to think of it I don't think we see a lot of court scenes. Could we ever see a Main Rider that's a lawyer? Kangaroo Deadman! Sure made good use of those legs. I liked the combination of Mammoth + Megalodon + Lion Genome's to beat him. The Lion Genome's Finisher reminded me of a Zoid. Sakura sure is flexible. Can Evil and the next Deadman stand up to the Ex-Aid/Jackal Genome and the power of rad skateboard skills? |

Don't we wish as I would. Check out the Reiwa fan rider series I have in mind. Kitaoka/Zolda is a lawyer too.

ok 2 things so while I had 0 doubts Daji would eventually become the second rider him straight up being Evil didn't make sense but the route they're going (possessed and/or Devilman/demon taking advantage of his insecurities) does.

George you weird, weird motherfucker.
Lots of fun misdirection going on in this one and the last! I appreciate that they made the outcome not totally obvious and I'm at least intrigued enough to see where this'll go. Still very disappointed that modern Rider can never go back to the day of OOO or Wizard where they could just keep Kamen Rider as a singular hero until Christmas but hey, Evil and Hiromi at least have interesting stuff going on

I need to give Ikki more credit. He's so deceptive that he immediately expects Kudo to deceive him and then deceives him back by pretending to be deceived! The way he crashed the courtroom and let Kudo monologue before turning and presenting the evidence was very cool as well.
Vice also played an important part. Looks like having a devil can be pretty useful as long as you can control them. He basically functions as a familiar here being able to discreetly scout the room for hidden evidence. Thanks to the Gundephone, Ikki now has proof that he's not crazy and Vice actually exists. Takeru could've used one of those for Yurusen so his clients wouldn't think he's crazy. Not sure how Vice planned to eat that ramune without a physical body (and while wearing a mask), unless he was actually expecting Ikki to henshin just to feed him. As for a person who can't control their devil, Daiji is being influenced directly by "Kagerou", which we're led to believe is due to George giving him the Driver to become the aptly named Evil. However, since Hiromi noticed that Daiji wasn't getting much sleep, I'm starting to think that maybe this development was something that happened on its own and Kagerou is taking Daiji's body on joyrides without him noticing. George might just be taking advantage of that to test his new technology. At least Daiji is probably safe from that neck-snapping move he was practising before. I didn't mention Lion Genome's Machine parallel in the last episode, but I'm not sure if it actually has one. Sawtooth is a smilodon, but that's a tiger, not a lion. Megalodon's here as well, with absolutely no explanation given, but the Remix has yet to debut for that.

I’m pretty interested in what is going on with Daiji, but it does feel like it is going a little fast at the same time. I hope the show gives us a little more breathing room later on to have calmer moments more often.
George continues to be the most *something* character I’ve seen in a toku.

Other than Hiromi getting what he deserves, one things I'm looking forward to is Sakura's development. It's in the background, but you can tell something will happen. And now we have Julio in the mix with it.
And I kinda ship them... |

Uffff... Probably the first really bad episode.
First of all, why did they even go to Ikki with this when they not mention the Deadman with any word in the original talk. Second, it's a miracle these two weren't busted before because, wow, they were bad at this! Like, "Let's discuss our evil plan with an unlocked door in an office building. Cleary won't bite us!" or, "Oh, sure, leave your obvious phone in your lap, pointed at me. Nothing wrong with that!" Like... Wow, were these two idiots. And it all felt sooo rushed. This needed one more episode not to come off as overcrowded. As for the Evil revile... Don't like it. I mean, that it was him was pretty obvious, but making it his demon just... Feels like it makes things so much less interesting. Why not let him be in charge and only be influenced? Would be far more interesting. Also, George is so blatantly evil, it's hilarious.
