I hope they find a way to bring back kirriyu like they've brought back kuruto.

I just realized that the Squash finishers in Gaim are named after a kind of fruity drink:

Each of the Sengoku Driver's functions are named after a type of beverage.
Squash: Concentrated syrup. Au Lait: Coffee with milk. Sparking: Carbonated water.

I knew that Amazons had a filter on them, but man it sure hits different once the filter is removed.

But I wonder what would the whole show be without the filter tho. I kinda feel like the edginess would land better without the filter, cuz with the filter you're kinda just expecting and then it gets washed out. |

The gratuitous filter to make the show appear literally darker and grittier has always been extremely funny but it is also absolutely iconic and essential to Amazons' identity! You take one look at it and you know exactly what it's about and what it's here to do for you.

For a video game themed series, I can't help but feel like Ex-Aid missed a few opportunities to experiment with camera tricks to hammer in the video game feel. I feel like some over-the-shoulder tracking shots to replicate a game's third person view could spice up Snipe's fight scenes and reinforce his shooting game motif. Not exactly complaining with what we got but just saying.

So I just found out that a thumbs down gesture in Japan basically means 'go to hell'. Suddenly Eternal's catchphrase makes more sense.
EDIT: Wait, no, more specifically a thumbs down in Japan is basically an insult, not literally 'go to hell'. My bad.
