FYI, for those interested, today's toy blog post confirms that there are currently no plans to release Caladbolg, Master Logos' sword. They basically state that it falls into the same limbo that Yujou Burst was previously. But they do imply that if the Omniforce/Grimoire set sells well, they might consider releasing it. |

It is a belt that can be transformed into "Kamen Rider Solomon" of Master Logos and "Kamen Rider Storius" of Storius that will appear next time.
The biggest feature is that you can transform yourself with the belt alone. I hope you will add it to the collection as a transformation belt for the villains that will color the final battle of Saber. It will arrive after the program ends, but that's okay. (It can not be helped.) The weapon "Caladbolg" is not used for transformation, so there are no plans to commercialize it at this time, but it's okay. ... No, it's not good at all! First of all, we would appreciate it if you could make a reservation for this product. It will be the same story as the friendship burst, but I think that the possibility of commercialization will be visible depending on the volume of the number of reservations for this transformation item. |

Sales figures are now out for Saber's Q2 and Q3. They're down a little from Zero-One but still basically the same

I’d assume it’s just because 01 is extraordinarily popular. Saber so far is still one of Rider’s bestselling toylines assuming it keeps to its pace

Well, I bought my first RKF with Calibur! ... Don't think I'll do that again!
I made sure to temper my expectations going into it, it is a kid's figure after all; but so much about it just doesn't work for me at all and actually seems to go against that? The main gimmick of "rip off and replace the torso for a completely different design" works well, and certain parts like Jaaku's head have very nice paint apps, but it's all the little things around it -- the hands are awful to try and replace, and the ones that are supposed to hold the sword always end up dropping it. The head articulation is blocked badly by the collar, the plastic quality just feels ~slimy~ in a way that's hard to get across... I dunno. I might have just gotten a bad copy (it didn't help that this one's sword was bent which Manda didn't mention...) but I remember the gimmick figures in Ex-Aid, Drive and OOO being far far better than this. I'll be replacing this with a SO-DO Jaou Dragon if it's cheap at my next opportunity and not revisit this line again, I think

It makes no fucking sense for that to be a thing when practically every single Kamen Rider weapon has a different sized grip. Even Kenzan's weapons don't share the same grip on the RKF. Bent accessories is a pretty big problem with this line too - because again, soft plastic. I ended up dropping this line because SO-DO figures are basically perfect action figures once you've sealed the stickers(the fact they use hard plastic makes this process much easier, too). The only things RKF had going for it were fast releases and the vast Legend Rider selection - neither of which are things that they do anymore. |
