To be honest, I loved Final Wars, but aside from the dude with the mustache, I really didn't like the human scenes. Too much Matrix dickriding.

Yeah, there's a lot of ponies and references to Gekiranger and Sun Vulcan.
Personally, I liked the "mutant" scenes. They were kind of stupid, but it was kind of cool too and a bit different from the norm of "oh man how are we gonna stop Godzilla? Should we study it or should we kill it!?"

I watched the first episode Giant Robot Mikazuki that I found on youtube. Can't really saw much about it right now since I've only seen the first episode. But yeah, never really imagined a watermelon as the monster of the week... uh month since the show was apparently monthly.

I love Final Wars, it's one of my favorite Godzilla films. It's so much damn fun, action scenes with Kaiju and Humans, and was a perfect way to put Godzilla on a break, with a bang and fighting his most famous enemy.
It was non-stop awesome action. |

I have to be honest. I thought King Ghidorah was such a cool enemy before I ever saw a Godzilla film, but now that I've seen roughly half of them, I'm not really a fan. I haven't seen every Ghidorah flick, but from what I have seen most of them aren't great and his appearances are always too short and way at the end. I think the only one I've really enjoyed was Invasion of Astro Monster.

Final Wars was a let down to me. It was Godzilla's 50th anniversary and most of the monsters added in the film are just added to be killed off. The movie was trying to be very campy, but still trying to be serious. A lot of the action scenes are very similar to The Matrix, X-Men and Jet Li's The One. It makes you feel like that you should be watching better movies instead. Final Wars has a love or hate rep with most G fans. I seen it once and I never have the urge to see it again.

Really, only the monster fighting is what makes me not condemn it. The very campy fight with Anguirus, Rodan, and Caesar to the climax against Ghidora and Gigan are basically 90% of the reason why I'd ever watch it (The other 10% being the mustache'd dude).

UltraMan Episode 7: That was a fantastic episode; mainly because it didn't focus on Hoshino or had the little kids plots in it. I really enjoyed them travelling to the Middle East to see about problems a monster was causing. World travel is fun and that it lead to a place that an UltraMan visited before is interesting. Especially being called the God of Noa, which reminds me of UltraMan Noa from Nexus. I'm guessing there is more between the two than I realize. Definitely a fun and intriguing fight too. That the Specium Ray didn't defeat it was fascinating. I wonder what that Blue Jewel was besides just something that could defeat Antlar. Nice planning by the Captain to leave Akiko behind or else they would have been pretty stranded there. I hope the City of Baraj gets more visitor maybe with the Science Patrols help because that is just kind of depressing to think about other wise. Still this is a very entertaining and awesome show right now and I can't wait for more.
UltraMan Episode 8 and 9: Both very good episodes. I enjoyed Episode 8 a lot because of the Monster fighting in it. Red King was freaking brutal with ripping that one monster's arm off and all the blood between them was fun. Red King hasn't changed in 50 years and neither has Pigmon lol. I felt bad for the Pigmon but I'm glad that Pigmon is normally the same helpful monster that it normally is in Ultra series. One of my favorite parts of this series is seeing how Hayata magically ends up by himself to transform from getting hurt in episode 8 and crashing in a helicopter from episode 9 makes me think that Hayata is Ultra by himself lol. The fight with Gabora was pretty awesome and so was the fight against the Red King. I like how both were taken down by throws rather than the Specium Ray showing that he has more ways to take down the monsters or aliens than just one. Both episodes were good with dealing with the threats and the Science Patrol growing and being used very well. I love the entire team of the Science Patrol including Hoshino too. Well I can't wait for more. I love this series right now. =) UltraMan Episode 10: I'm just starting with the combat here because this is basically UltraMan vs Godzilla and it was pretty freaking epic. Well it was actually a monster named Jirass that was raised by a mad dinosaur-obsessed scientist but it's the actually Godzilla suit. I had to look it up because it looked so much like Godzilla that I wanted to make sure. After UltraMan viciously rips off the added frill it definitely looked like Godzilla. Still UltraMan was a lot of fun in this fight after he ripped off the frill he was going like a matador on Jirass which was hilarious, also the taunting and the laughing was great too. I'm glad Hayata just decided to separate from the group rather than having a reason this time because he knew he had to go stop Jirass sooner than later. The episode was definitely set up more for the fight because there wasn't much with the characters going on except that Ide, Hayata, and Arashi got a mini-vacation which looked like fun for them. Also, Ide is pretty good at fixing his communicator with just a hair pin so good for him. Also, awesome special effects with the light surrounding Hayata, I didn't know they could do stuff like that in the 60's; the effects for this series have honestly been amazing. Still that was an amazing monster fight and I loved how they both threw rocks in the air and then blasted it away. I can't wait for more awesome giant vs monster action. =) UltraMan Episode 11 and 12: I was sick a bit when I watched these but I still remember most of them. The Magic Rock and the Mummy lol. The Magic Rock was an intriguing episode I liked the concept of the rock that can change into whatever someone wishes for as long as the focus on it. Though the guy who stole was definitely insane with wanting to scare people and how he laughed. I wonder if it was an alien's toy or the race itself. It was interesting to see UltraMan fly it away into space. The Mummy was interesting especially since he didn't grow big and there was another giant monster connected with it. I enjoyed the battle and especially how it showed how Hayata goes back to normal and in different places. Both were interesting and fun episodes.
