Aristotle.1: Enter Star Doki-Doki! The Heart-Pounding Fireball Star Warrior!
By: TheXrosLoaderGeneral ---I--- It was a dark, stormy-like night and the lightning and thundering had probably knocked out a few electric cables and the rain didn’t do the weather any good. In the city of Utopia City, a woman, that looked to be about twenty six years of age, wearing an army uniform with a camouflage hat on top of her hair and a black umbrella in hand was walking on the sidewalk, humming a light lullaby out loud. ‘A heart that is wounded will remember the fear,’ the woman hummed warmly. While she was walking and humming, she didn’t notice the dark figure that was following her from her own shadow. ‘A heart that is pained will look for something to lean on. Strength is a fortress that encircles all,’ hummed the returning army soldier as she bopped her head slowly. The monster seemed to be advancing closer every second. ‘Kindness cannot be said without knowing the tears,’ Suddenly, that’s when the monster finally struck. He immediately grabbed her from behind and threw her into the nearby playground, making her drop her umbrella. Her back hit the metal part of the monkey bars. The monster, now in full view, looked hideous. The monster appeared to be a humanoid monster that took the appearance of a dog from hell… A Hellhound, with black horns and he wielded a purple scythe in his hand. The monster’s color was black and it had skeleton-body parts all over him and it had blue shimmering eyes. On his chest was the insignia of the Shadow, which is the picture of a skull wearing a purple and black hood and smiling menacingly. His breathing was hard and smoke erupted from his mouth. He cackled at the sight of the frightened and shocked woman. He slapped his tongue against his own face as drool began dripping from his tongue. He advanced toward the woman and grabbed her by her collar. “Well… aren’t you a cute Terraian…” The monster smiled, “Losing your son and husband to a car accident before you returned home and never even knowing about it because your family didn’t care one bit… you must be depressed. That’s good for me since the higher your depression and sadness is, the stronger you will be as a Shadow. Yes, you will make a perfect Shadow…” The woman gasped in fear, “H-How the hell did you know that?! Who are you and why are you spying on me and talking this nonsense…?” It took her a second to finally realize what was happening, “Y-You’re a Shadow… I heard about you monsters appearing here in Utopia City! No… I don’t want my life to end here! Help me somebody!” The monster frowned, “Nobody is coming to help you… you will belong to Queen Oblivion’s army and only her! Now… prepare!” The Shadow monster began to cover her body with long wraps, like she was a mummy about to be buried, while laughing. He was getting ready to transform her into a Shadow. Queen Oblivion was going to be pleased and maybe even increase his rank to “Loyal Guard”. He could hardly stop fidgeting at his excitement. Suddenly, he sensed an attack was coming towards him and he jumped out of the way, impeding his chance at trying to convert the young lady to a Shadow. A fireball exploded the cloth around the army soldier’s body, making her fall to the ground with a solid thud. She looked up to see her savior, standing right next to her. He had long foot-length orange hair that was tied back into a ponytail and he was wearing an orange Alice Band. Yes, his hair went all the way down to his foot. “Are you okay, miss?” Star Doki-Doki asked with a smile, “I’m here to save you from that Shadow monster.” The woman’s eyes widened once she saw the Fire-themed Star Warrior, “You… you… you’re a Star Warrior! I’ve heard about people like you from my son and husband! You’re the magical heroes of Utopia City! I never thought I’d meet one!” Star Doki-Doki blushed in embarrassment at her compliment, “I wouldn’t make a big deal out of… WATCH OUT!” Doki-Doki jumped in front of the woman and blocked an incoming fist attack from the Shadow monster with his right hand. His face flared up with seriousness and intensity, “Miss, it was nice meeting you, but you must get far away from here as fast as you can! He’s too dangerous and I have to take care of this him quick!” The woman nodded and began running with all her might, but not before turning around and smiling at him and giving him two thumbs up. After hearing what Doki-Doki said, he nearly flipped out, “I have a name, you know?! Damn Star Warriors don’t have respect for their opponents!” Doki-Doki’s curiousness and naïve nature took over his former serious and fired-up demeanor, “What is it then?” “The name is Hound Shadow for Pete’s sake!” roared an angry and fuming Hound Shadow. “Bwahahahaha!” a deep male’s voice laughed hysterically, “Out of all the Shadow’s we’ve faced this week, you have got to have the stupidest and weirdest name out of all!” Doki-Doki and Hound Shadow’s attention turned to where the source of the voice was coming from. The orange-haired boy sweat-dropped when he saw that the voice was actually coming from his guardian spirit animal, a small orange-colored Beagle with white paws and a white tail, laughing his butt off. “Don’t be so mean Doki!” Star Doki-Doki whined. The Beagle, now known as Doki, sucked his teeth, “I was just having fun. Besides… you know you agree with me.” Hound Shadow had finally had enough. He wasn’t about to let a Star Warrior belittle him like he was trash! He was a member of the Shadow and he couldn’t let Queen Oblivion down… not if he didn’t want to die. He lifted up his leg and struck a distracted Doki-Doki in the face, throwing him into a slide. It shattered upon contact with the Star Warrior’s body. Doki saw this and ran over to his friend with a joking smirk on his face, “You should’ve been paying attention.” Star Doki-Doki rose up slowly while scratching the back of his head embarrassedly, “A simple ‘are you alright?’ would’ve been nice. But yeah, I did get distracted…” Doki-Doki lifted himself off the ground, “But now I’m serious!” “That’s what I like to see! Don’t surrender to the Shadow!” barked Doki while wagging his tail proudly. “It’s time to summon my Doki-Doki Inferno Chakrams!” Star Doki-Doki opened up the pouch that was located on the suit’s buckle and took out two small orange Star Coins and slid them into two, out of six, tiny insert circles on his Star Watch and thrusted it upwards into the sky with determination. “In the name of the Elemental Fire Spirit, Doki, lend me the access to the Doki-Doki Inferno Chakrams!” After he finished chanting the magical words, his Star Watcher began to glow and beamed greatly until two orange chakrams appeared in both of his hands. Star Doki-Doki’s Fire powers caused the Chakrams to burn fiercely. He grinned, “Shadow monster! Prepare to meet your end, in the fashion of a Star Warrior!” Star Doki-Doki quickly moved slightly and appeared in front of him at eye-popping speed and delivered a powerful, strong kick to his chest, creating a mini-quake throughout the entire city, throwing him onto the nearby blue slide. “Ow!” the monster cried in pain. Star Doki-Doki advanced toward the Hound Shadow and slashed him across his chest with his Chakrams and went to head butt him, but the Shadow quickly punched the Star Warrior in the face, knocking him to ground. He laughed loudly with victory, “You can’t beat me, Star Warrior!” Suddenly, Doki was seen running towards the Hound Shadow and jumped into the air and slashed him across the face with his tail which had lit up with fire, “Back off, Shadow!” Doki turned around and roared at his Star Warrior, “Come on, dammit! We’ve gotta hurry take care of this problem! NOW!” Star Doki-Doki weakly lifted himself off the ground and groaned at Doki, “You don’t have to be a jerk! I’m trying my hardest right now and as you can see; his anger is pretty much powering him.” “How about you try your Doki-Doki Flaming Fists?!” commanded Doki while snarling at Star Doki-Doki. The Star Warrior sighed and nodded as he took out three small orange Star Coins and slid them into three entry circles and his Star Watch activated it immediately, reacting with an orange burst of light, “Doki-Doki Flaming Fists!” Star Doki-Doki charged forward past Doki and punched Hound Shadow in the face once, then another, and to end the combo, he delivered a flaming uppercut, knocking him to his feet. Doki-Doki then jumped back at a good distance, “It’s time to end this!” He quickly took out five small Star Coins and inserted them into the five small circles and his Star Watch called out, “Star Overload! Star Overload!” Star Doki-Doki smiled as he whipped his twin Doki-Doki Inferno Chakrams fiercely at blinding speeds, “Everlasting Burning Slash!” Star Doki-Doki ran towards the hurt Hound Shadow and slashed him through the chest with both of his flaming Chakrams horizontally and vertically, making the image of a flaming star at the finish. The Hound Shadow cried in pain and agony as his body began to turn dark and misty until he went into the air and exploded into a cloud stream of black, drifting along in the sky. Star Doki-Doki smiled triumphantly at his victory in his battle against the now defeated Hound Shadow. He then shifted his hand in front of himself and shouted, “Star Warrior! Deform!” Doki jogged over to the Fire Star Warrior and snarled at him, “I would complement you on your success on stopping the Shadow from converting that woman into one, but your battling was off today!” “Be grateful,” The boy cried, “I tried my hardest. You know it’s not easy when you’re tired and it’s raining outside and don’t let me forget that it’s 4:00 in the morning!” The boy was currently wearing his pajama, which was consisting of an orange shirt and white boxers and two pairs of clean white socks. His burning orange eyes had peculiar gear-shaped pupils with eight grooves around the edges. He appeared to be in his teens, specifically the age of sixteen. “Don’t complain Dante!” Doki cried, “There will be tougher battles after this one and you will have to do more practicing… now, let’s get back home to get some more rest before school…” Dante smiled, “Sure, Doki.” While Dante and Doki began walking back home, they didn’t notice a unknown shadowy cloaked figure standing on top of a tree, looking down at them. “Dammit, Queen Oblivion isn’t going to like this…” With that, the cloaked figure disappeared into his shadow. ---I--- ------------------ *cue Opening #1: Just Fly Away by EDGE of LIFE* ------------------- ---I---Our scene now pans from Dante and Doki back to the cloaked figure, who had transported from the tree to a dark, vacant alleyway that contained a few stray cats, disgusting garbage, spoiled food and unpleasant odors. The cloaked figure looked around to make sure people didn’t see him and put his right hand onto the brick wall in front of him and a black gate appeared and opened up. He walked into the gate, only to appear in the main hall of the headquarters of the Shadows, the Dark Kingdom, which was located on top of the highest mountain on Earth, Mount Everest. The room consisted of about hundreds of regular Shadow foot soldiers. They were black-robed ninja-like creatures and were armed with long swords, white smoke bombs, and red explosive balls. They were called Dusks, and they were the weaker type of Shadows. The foot soldiers were currently standing still and chanting their Empresses’ name. The cloaked figure walked down the open path that was garbed with a long royalty-like red carpet. In front of him, sitting on a black throne that was full of skeleton heads and bones and reeked of depression, was Queen Oblivion. She has a tall and slender figure, with long black hair. Her hair was also accented with red thorn-like clips and she had wing-shaped crests from cutting out from her shoulders and she wore a black dress. She wore black and red high-heeled boots. She had an innocent, yet stern look on her face. By her side were three others. One of them was a man that had completely black skin and had an eye patch around his left eye. He had his bare chest out, showing off his chiseled and perfected chest that contained a large X-shaped scar. However, he wore black pants with black shoes on. On the man’s back was an automatic laser gun and he had two Sais on his hips. Lastly, he was bald and had a small beard. His name was Basiolio. Once the cloaked figure stopped in front of Queen Oblivion, he pulled off the cloak, revealing himself. He appeared to be a twenty-three-year-old man with gray, dull eyes and long purple hair bleached at the tips and braided at the strands. He was also pale as a vampire and had three earring piercings in both of his ears. The outfit he was wearing was a black and lavender checked vest with a white ruffled button up shirt worn underneath, puffy short pants and black and white boots that reach to the knees and curl at the toes. One of his hands had a white glove. He bowed in front of Queen Oblivion. “Queen Oblivion, Hound Shadow has been defeated,” The purple-haired man spoke. Queen Oblivion looked at the man with a stern look, “So Star Doki-Doki must’ve showed up and stopped him… that Hound Shadow is completely worthless.” “I agree Queen Oblivion,” agreed Joker. Queen Oblivion sighed angrily, “I hate to admit this but that new Star Warrior that the stupid flaming mongrel found is actually a challenge to us… I guess I’ll have to use my Dark Energy to convert one of the Dusks into a Fullbreed Shadow…” She scanned the area of Dusks and randomly selected one of the Dusks from the front of the left squad, “You there. Come.” Once the Dusk saw her calling him, he nodded and walked over to her and bowed respectfully. Queen Oblivion stood up from her throne and kneeled down to touch his face. Her hands began glowing and clenching his face tightly, flowing her Dark Energy into him. While this happening, the Dusks watched in shock and awe as one of their own screamed and twitched while his body was transforming into a greater form. After a few moments, Queen Oblivion let go of his head and sat back on her throne, her hands sizzling with smoke, but she appeared unfazed by it. When she saw what she had created, she smiled maliciously, “You look outstanding… my Bat Shadow.” Bat Shadow’s skin was blue and he had long bat wings. He had long ears and spikes on the edge of his wings. To complete his appearance, on his chest was the Shadow’s insignia. She turned to look at Joker, her face returning to the same bored look, “Joker… I would like for you to accompany Bat Shadow into Utopia City and you’d better not fail… or I will make you pay, understood?” Joker nodded firmly, “Of course Queen Oblivion. I will rid Utopia City of Star Doki-Doki and Doki and we will enslave everyone and transform them into Shadows.” ---I--- Rinnnggggggg! Morning had finally come since four o’ clock and sixteen year old Dante Walker had finally waked, lazily slapping his alarm clock, which read 7:50am. The first thing he heard was the sound of birds chirping and the sounds of his mother cooking in the kitchen and chattering going on downstairs. He turned to look at his alarm clock and what he saw nearly made his tired eyes pop out of his head. “Dammit! I’m going to be late!” Dante cried as he broke into a run, only to trip and fall. Dante’s body hit the floor, making a solid thud on the ground. “Iteeeeeeee…!” He was about to get off the floor, when he saw his guardian spirit: Doki, standing in front of him with a stern face, “Doki, why didn’t you wake me up?!” “It’s because of your performance against that Shadow this morning,” Doki answered harshly. Dante frowned, “You know, you’re very harsh to me. I just became a Star Warrior about three weeks ago and I think I’m doing a pretty darn good job for a novice.” Doki huffed, “Whatever…” Dante sighed. He didn’t realize why Doki acted this way towards him, but he couldn’t worry about that. He had to get to school before he was late. He lifted himself off the ground, when he heard two voices, “Big brother!” shouted two children’s voices, “Mommy and Daddy said if you don’t hurry, your breakfast is gonna get cold and you will miss your train ride to school!” Dante looked at his alarm clock, “7:55! Crap, if I’m late then Ms. Jennifer is going to chew me out again!” He quickly jumped up and ran to his closet/wardrobe closet and took out his clothes he was going to be wearing for the day and slipped it on. He quickly slipped on his clothes, which was a red jacket with a silver zipper and cargo jeans. He had on a white undershirt and wore red sneakers and white socks and a black belt, with a silver buckle. On his wrist were his orange and white Star Watch and his yellow pouch that was filled with his Star Coins, was attached to his belt. Lastly, Dante replaced his orange Alice Band with his yellow one. He then ran into the bathroom and got his cherry-cinnamon toothpaste and blue toothbrush and squeezed it onto the toothbrush. He drilled the toothbrush into his mouth and brushed wildly. Suddenly, he felt something climbing up his body. He continued brushing his teeth as he looked down to see his little sister and brother climbing him like he was a jungle gym. “Noah! Aria…!” Dante exclaimed as he spit out the toothpaste in the sink and washed it down with mouthwash and water, “Could you please stop climbing me?!” Dante’s younger sister, Aria Walker pouted at her eldest brother, “Daddy told me to tell you can’t be late for the train or Ms. Jennifer is going to give you another tardy and give you detention for the third time this week.” “So hurry up and pick up the pace!” Dante’s younger brother, Noah Walker cried. Dante threw his siblings off him and charged down the stairs and grabbed his backpack and darted towards the kitchen were his mother and father was. On the table was a carton of orange juice and warm, out-of-the-microwave buttered raisin toast. “Good morning, mother and father!” Dante said in a muffled voice as he picked up the buttered raisin bread and held in his mouth, biting into it, “I’ll see you when I get home! Enjoy work!” “Wait for me, dammit!” Doki growled while running behind Dante, barking furiously. With that, Dante grabbed the almost empty carton of orange juice and left the house in a frenzy-like fashion. Dante’s mother, Emma Walker just stared at her husband, “Dante and Doki… same as always. I hope he gets to the train in time.” Dante’s father, Matthew Walker flipped through a page in his new, daily newspaper before walking over to his wife, “Yeah I agree. I do think that Doki is being hard on him though, our kid has been doing great as a Star Warrior lately. I mean look at the main title in today’s newspaper,” Emma looked to see that the main article in the newspaper read: “STAR WARRIOR DOKI-DOKI SAVES FEMALE SOLDIER FROM SHADOW!” The picture also showed a picture of Star Doki-Doki standing victoriously. Matthew sighed, “Damn that dog. Why did he have to come into our lives and make our son do these dangerous things and risk his life?” “Maybe it has something to do with his past on his planet of Kerobos… maybe Dante reminded him of someone… who knows,” Emma replied. ---I--- Dante quickly chewed is pitiful morning breakfast as he continued running to catch his train. He chewed ferociously on the raisin bread and in a matter of seconds, he finished it and he wiped the bread crumbs from his mouth and opened and tossed the cap from the carton in the recycling can and chugged down the still cold orange juice. He then took out his red flip-phone to see what time it was. His clock read 7:57 and his train left at 8:00 sharp and school started at 8:15. He had to hurry and fast. He looked to his left to see Doki walking nimbly on a close nearby on a black rail, not saying a word to him at all, unlike the usual, so he decided to talk. “Doki… I’m sorry about today… I got careless and I should’ve been more attentive during the battle,” Dante apologized. Doki sighed, finally speaking for the first time in minutes, “Ugh, fine… maybe I was a little hard on you… but we’ll talk later. We’re going to miss the damn train!” “Darn it, I shouldn’t have stayed up watching an entire marathon of Shining Gleaming Princess Bounty Hunter! I should’ve studied my notes for the Math test today!” Dante shouted. If you didn’t already know, Dante was sixteen years old and a sophomore at Utopia High and he was the Fire-themed Star Warrior, Star Doki-Doki. His height was exactly 170 to 180 and he was a generally shy and quiet kid and was very kind towards people, even if they hated him or disliked him, like Doki or his family. If you’re also wondering what a Star Warrior is, it is a warrior that battled against the Shadows and stopped them from converting people to Shadows. They were basically the Warriors of Hope and Love and have to have a fiery spirit or a sense of justice to become compatible with the Star Coins and Star Watches. Dante panted as he and Doki turned the corner. Every second that passed, made his heart beat rapidly. “Damn… damn… DAMN!” Doki quickly passed Dante with his tremendous speed, who was still trying his hardest. He used the last of his speed and stamina to make it to the train station. He took out his brown wallet and took out a golden-yellow square card with a barcode and a bunch of numbers all over in blue typed ink. It had the word ‘Pass’ at the top corner with the train station’s insignia as a background. He then scanned it on the machine and busted through it like a maniac on the lamb form the cops that were chasing him. In front of him and Doki were the train doors, which were beginning to close shut. “Crap…!” Dante cursed mentally. “We can make it!” Doki cried as he spoke to his partner telepathically. Dante ran and ran as the doors neared its closing. Once he was close enough, he jumped and dived forward and barely made it through as the doors finally closed shut. “Ow.” Dante lifted himself up as he grabbed onto a nearby pole to support him. Once he looked up, what he saw made him blush beet red. In front of him was a beautiful girl that was staring at him with a worried expression. She appeared to be sixteen years old and was somewhat busty. She was medium height with mid-length black hair. Her outfit was simple; she wore a simple navy blue sailor uniform with red stripes going around her collar and a red tie, a black miniskirt, white sneakers. She wore a blood red glove on her right hand. “Are you okay?” The black-haired girl asked him. Dante was so stunned by the girl’s beauty that he stammered on his words, “I-I-I’m okay, really. T-Thank you for being k-k-k-kind to me,” Dante stammered, causing Doki to chuckle at him. Doki knew that Dante wasn’t very popular with the ladies, even though he really wanted a girlfriend. In fact most of the girls either thought he was kind, yet awkward, a shy guy, or a complete dork, so it was hilarious since a girl was actually talking to him and he was getting nervous. ‘It seems Dante has a crush on that girl. Knowing him, he might just screw up his chance at gaining a friend, if not a girlfriend’ Doki thought mentally. Dante stopped talking upon seeing that the girl was staring at him blankly. He didn’t know whether she was going to judge him and call him a weirdo or if she was going to ignore him. Both would break Dante’s fragile heart. A few moments passed by, that seemed like an eternity for Dante, before the girl smiled at him brightly and extended her hand out to you. “You seem like a kind guy. The name’s Ashley Evergreen, but you can just call me Ash and trust me, if I let you call me Ash without a problem, that makes that you’re a person that I like,” Ash replied with a cherry smile, “Now get off the floor, it’s practically filthy with empty chip bags and trash.” Dante accepted her offer and he lifted himself up with Ash’s help, “M-My name is Dante Walker… it’s really nice to meet you Ash. Um… I hope this isn’t a weird question at all, but you do know that this is the train to the bus terminal near Utopia High, right?” “Actually yes I do. I’m a new student at the school and today’s my first day there. I assume you’re a student there?” Ash asked. Dante smiled, “Yep. You know… I could be your guide for the day… if it’s o-o-okay with y-you.” Ash chuckled, “Come on, you don’t have to be so shy around me. And I will gladly accept your offer to be my tour guide for the day.” Dante smiled, “Sure!” While Dante and his new friend Ash were chatting, Doki watched from the bag. He was actually happy for him. He was so happy that he thought he was actually smiling. ---I--- Several minutes later, Dante and Ash had arrived at Utopia High, fortunately on time. Utopia High, formerly known as Utopia High School, had been in operation since roughly two years after the town’s initial inception, twenty-five years ago, and had a capacity for schooling over 1000 students. Situated on approximately two hundred and fifty acres of land, the school boasted a multi-purpose field for track, soccer and football, an indoor court for basketball, and several buildings for classrooms, labs, the cafeteria, the library, and the general assembly hall. There were many rules, chief among them a prohibition for fighting while on campus and no horse playing. And, as with most other schools, Utopia High held academic excellence in great esteem, with many students over the decades entering into the wider economic world by virtue of their enviable marks in mathematics, science, and business studies. The two friends were currently walking the hallways to their first period. The hallways were crowded with many students who were chatting, reading books, or gossiping about others (specifically some of the girls). Ash took out her schedule and examined it, cocking her eyebrow at which homeroom should would be in and who her teacher was, “Dante, do you know where Class A-1 is… my teacher’s name is Ms. Jennifer.” Dante smiled brightly, “You’re in the same class as me!” “That’s great!” Ash smiled, “We get to hang out together!” Dante blushed embarrassedly at her comment, “T-T-That’s great…” He felt like he could pass out at any moment. Rinnngg-dinnnggg! The bell rang, indicating that first-period was about to begin. Dante noticed this and grabbed Ash by the hand unconsciously and tugged her to their homeroom class before they were late. ---I--- Dante and Ash breathe hard as they both stopped in front of their homeroom class’s door, arriving just in the nick of time. Dante, who had finally stopped panting, had opened up the door and walked into the class, with Ash walking right beside him. The room was cluttered with different amounts of boys and girls, who were chattering, playing video games, playing on their phones, catching up on homework or sleeping. Once they saw Dante and Ash walk in, they all got quiet. The boys immediately began to swoon over her, replacing their eyes with hearts, “She’s so hot!” “She just walked in the door and I have already fallen in love. It’s live at first sight!” One boy cried. “She’s so fine!” Another boy commented. “What’s she doing holding hands with that loser!” roared another boy who was practically in a fit of rage at how a ‘nobody’ like Dante would be holding hands with a girl like Ashley. It was physically impossible to him! Dante and Ash looked down to see their hands touching and quickly pulled away from each other, blushing from embarrassment. “S-Sorry about that, I-I got carried away,” Dante spoke nervously. Ash smiled at him while blushing, “It’s alright, really.” Suddenly, the whole class’s uproar was immediately silenced when the mistress of evil herself, Ms. Jennifer. However, Ash was oblivious to this. She turned to look at Dante, “Dante, what’s going on… and why are you making that scared face?” Dante was shaking in his boots when he smelled the familiar scent of his homeroom teacher, which was the scent of old cinnamon-scented perfume and coffee beans. Dante finally spoke, “I-I-It’s… Ms. Jennifer.” Suddenly, he felt a hand grab his shoulder and he heard the voice of a kind, gentle, yet stern woman, “Dante… if you could be so kind to get to your seat so I can begin class…” Dante quickly nodded and made his way to his seat, which was all the way in the back, next to the window. While he walked, he received several dirty, malice-filled glares, making him feel uncomfortable and nervous. Once he sat down and his seat, he gently placed his backpack next to his chair, knowing Doki was in it. Ms. Jennifer smiled brightly before looking over to Ash, “So… I haven’t seen you before. You must be a new student… hmm, that’s rather weird. I don’t remember Principal Gilligan talking to me about it, but I suppose it’s alright. How about we stand in front of the board and introduce yourself?” Ms. Jennifer was actually a very beautiful and youthful-looking lady, for some one that was supposed to be fierce and evil. Ms. Jennifer was a young female with a slim build. She has long black hair and her eyes are depicted as if they are closed. She was wearing a white V-neck shirt with a wide collar that reveals a little of her cleavage and a dark skirt. She appeared to be in her mid-twenties, specifically twenty-five. “Alright,” Ashley replied while walking to the front of the class, “To introduce myself, my name is Ashley Evergreen. I’m a new student in Ms. Jennifer’s class and I am a very friendly, fun-loving person, so I’d be happy to get along with all of you.” The boys smiled and waved at Ashley like a bunch of love-struck idiots, with Ash responding with a simple wave. Ms. Jennifer smiled, “Well Ms. Evergreen, please take a seat… next to Dante over there.” All of the boys practically flipped their desks over in anger and envy that the new girl was sitting next to Dante. “You bastard!” A boy shouted in anger. Dante was filled with fear upon hearing the bass in the boy’s voice, “I’m sorry!” Doki sighed as he watched his partner from his backpack’s open hole, “Always a wimp, huh Dante?” ---I--- The rest of the day was like hell on Earth for Dante. And what made it even more horrible is the fact that every guy was swooning over Ash and he didn’t like it. Not one bit. ---I--- (First Period; Math…) “That’s correct~!” mused the Math teacher, Ms. Jennifer as she walked over to the chalkboard to circle the answer that Ash had received. Everyone stared at her in wonder and awe. They were baffled at how she could solve a college level equation that could take even a genius professor a whole day to solve in just a matter of ten seconds. Ash made his way back to her seat with a confident grin. ---I--- (Fourth Period; P.E/Gym…) “Come on, come on, come on…!” Ash said as she jumped up into the air to hit the volleyball that was coming to her. She swung her hand quickly and spiked it right past someone’s past, narrowly hitting them. Everyone watched in awe as she hit the ball with tremendous speed and strength. Dante was shocked at her abnormal strength. He would hate to get on her bad side. “POINT…!” Ashley exclaimed. The girls’ mouths dropped in surprise at the flexibility and strength of Ash. They were definitely jealous as they saw the boys swooning around him. “That bitch Ashley!” A girl grunted angrily, “Anyone could do that!” The girl tried to imitate Ash’s tremendous strike, only to fall on her butt. ---I--- (Fifth Period: Lunch…) “Haha! You’re so hilarious, Ashley!” The boys said as they laughed at Ash’s joke. They were all surrounding him at her desk as she ate her prepared lunch. Ash laughed along, “Hey, I’m not that funny.” “You’re so cute when you are denying the truth,” A boy commented while laughing. While Ash and the boys were chatting it up, Dante was sitting at his desk, staring at them with an angry look on his face. “I hate them… why can’t I confess my feelings to her,” Dante thought before sighing, “But it kind of would be weird… considering I just met her today… and the boys would kill me.” Dante looked at his backpack sadly, “Let’s go Doki… it seems that Ash is too busy for us…” ---I--- The downtown district of Utopia City was one of the funniest and glorious places to be, but just like that, the peace was about to end. A pizza delivery man, who was driving on a bicycle, was humming to a light tone, when suddenly; Joker appeared in front of him from the shadow of a tree. He cackled menacingly, instantly sending shivers down the man’s body as he fell off the bike from sudden fright. “W-W-Who are you?” the man cried in fear as he backed away while Joker stepped closer to him. Joker laughed, “My name is Joker and I serve under Queen Oblivion, the ruler of the Shadows.” Joker overlooked the man before smiling, “You seem like a worthy candidate. Even though you’re not sad or depressed, you are feeling fear and that will make you a somewhat good Shadow.” As almost if simultaneously, Bat Shadow flew down in front of the petrified young man and began to cover his body with long wraps, like she was a mummy about to be buried, while smiling. “Come on, Star Doki-Doki. Fall into our trap…” Joker whispered to himself. ---I--- While lunch period was continuing on, Dante swung open the classroom doors and headed to his own familiar place to sit and eat in peace, with his nicely wrapped and prepared lunch. He had finally made it to his own familiar place that was on the roof of the school and proceeded to sit down and unwrap his food. His food consisted of a turkey and cheese sandwich with lettuce, mayonnaise, oregano, and black pepper, a corn muffin, a fat-free chocolate chip cookie and a canned grape soda. All in all, his lunch was simple and tasty. Dante grabbed his turkey and cheese sandwich and was about to take a bite out of it, when he looked over at his backpack. He saw Doki’s adorable snout sticking out of the bag’s small hole that gave him breathing access. He zipped his backpack open and let Doki out. Doki turned to look at Dante, “What’s wrong with you?!” “What do you mean?” Dante asked soft-spoken, while tearing off a good sized piece of his sandwich and placing it in front of his guardian animal. Doki growled, “Don’t ‘what do you mean?’ me! You know damn well that, that Ashley girl is a babe and that you like her!” Dante blushed, “No… no I don’t! And plus… she probably likes those boys instead of me anyway… just like all of the other girls.” Suddenly, Doki jumped up and slapped him across the face with his tail out of anger, hard. Dante held his head and shouted, “Ow, why’d you do that?!” “I did that because of your stupid reply!” Doki growled angrily, “And how do you know Ashley doesn’t like you!” Dante sat there a moment before replying with a sad look on his face, “I… don’t know…” Suddenly, Dante felt a hand and he turned around, dropping his sandwich out of fright. It was Ash’s hand. Doki immediately leapt into spirit mode so Ash couldn’t see his him. “Why’d you leave the classroom?” Ash asked as she sat down beside him, “I was looking for you.” Dante smiled nervously, “I was... feeling kind of crowded. I usually like to be by myself on the roof where I can enjoy the fresh air and scenery.” Ash looked him in the eye, “Well… how about I join you? You know, we can hang out up here together.” “But… but what about your male ‘posse’? Are they going to be joining us?” Dante asked. “Get real. Those guys only liked me for my looks and not for my personality. That’s just their hormones talking really,” Ash replied with a chuckle. Dante smiled at her joke, “That’s funny…” … … … “DANTE!” shouted Doki loudly. He was communicating to his partner through telekinesis. Dante looked over at Doki and proceeded to talk to him via telekinesis as well. “What is it?” Dante asked. “It’s Shadow activity going on somewhere nearby in the downtown district! And I can feel someone being converted into a Shadow,” Doki responded, “We have to go now.” Dante nodded and looked at Ash, “Um… I have to go to the bathroom. I’ll probably be back in a couple of minutes depending on how bad… it is.” “Oh… okay,” Ash replied with a smile, “Hurry though. We do have a little bit more time before lunch ends.” Dante nodded and ran off, leaving a curious and suspecting Ash behind… ---I--- Dante dashed down the staircase and busted out of the front entrance of the school building, without getting spotted by the security guards. He stopped running once he approached the sidewalk and looked at Doki, “We have to get there quickly. We have to fly!” Doki nodded, “You’re right! Hurry up and transform.” Dante nodded before checking anyone was around to witness his transformation. Once he saw the coast was clear, he took out his Star Watch and placed it on his wrist, it fully materializing around his wrist. He quickly turned the circle of the watch to the right three times and spent it left one time, returning the dial to its original position and popping it open. Dante dug into his pouch and pulled out one Star Coin and inserted into the larger circle and closed the dial of the Star Warrior. The Watch began to glow while beaming a harmonic, majestic tune. Dante threw his hand into the air and cried, “In the name of the Elemental Fire Spirit, Doki, grant me access to the element of Fire!” An orange bubble formed around him, absorbing his body. Inside of the transformation bubble, Dante’s body became littered with his battle suit in a matter of fourty seconds. Once Dante had finished transforming, the orange bursted and dispersed. Dante was now Star Doki-Doki. He smiled once he saw that he was wearing a strange outfit. “Why can’t I get used to this yet. I feel like those magical girls on TV!” “Yes, yes. You feel like those characters that you Terraians watch on your stupid television. Now, can we get going,” Doki chuckled. Dante finally snapped into focus and nodded, scooping up the beagle and holding him in his arms, “You’re right. We can’t afford to waste any more time!” It was so cool! And it wasn't just about being cool-looking, the transformation seemed to give him powers too! Energy coursed through his limbs, and punching the air rapidly, he realized he could move lightning-fast. There was more to this, he had to try it out! He was a blur of orange, yellow and white and he zipped through the streets, scattering litter and setting off car alarms. "Man, I really need to work on controlling this!" Doki sighed, “You’ve been a Star Warrior for two weeks, but you still can’t get used to your powers.” “Hey, you know that I’m not good at flying yet,” Dante replied. “I’d thought you’d be by now though,” Doki smiled. Dante blushed in anger, “Whatever…” ---I--- Back at the downtown district, Bat Shadow and Joker were still doing their evil deeds. Bat Shadow cackled as black mist began to rise from the delivery man’s wrapped body. “Mist is appearing… that means that the human is close to converting,” Bat Shadow grinned, “Queen Oblivion will be certainly pleased…” Joker frowned, “But she won’t be pleased once she finds out that we haven’t defeated Star Doki-Doki and that wild mutt…” Joker’s eyes suddenly widened and turned around quickly to see Star Doki-Doki coming at him at blinding speeds. Joker, doing the only thing he could do, quickly opened up his jacket and stuck his hand in it and pulled out a black Shadow Dagger and blocked a flaming kick that was delivered by Star Doki-Doki. “I won’t let you terrorize the citizens of Utopia City!” Star Doki-Doki cried as he jumped back to gain a good distance from the evildoers. Doki barked once he saw the delivery man, “Dammit! Mist is rising! We have to hurry.” Joker cackled menacingly before jumping up onto the long branch of a close oak tree, “I’m sorry to inform you, but you won’t be winning this time Star Warrior. Take care of him without fail, Bat Shadow.” Bat Shadow nodded and snapped his finger and in a matter of seconds, Dusks began to appear from the shadows and readied their swords. “Dusks! Attack him!” ordered Bat Shadow. The Dusks shouted a battle cry before charging in towards Star Doki-Doki. Star Doki-Doki just stood there with his fists clenched. “You damned Shadows! You must have forgotten. I am the Heart-Pounding Fireball, Star Doki-Doki! Shadow monster! Prepare to meet your end, in the fashion of a Star Warrior!” Star Doki-Doki quickly charged forward and appeared in one of the Dusk’s faces and punched it in, throwing them backwards. The Dusk’s body dispersed into mist. He then flipped backwards and kicked one in the face and picked up one of the Dusk’s and violently threw him into a wall, creating a dent in it. He then grabbed another one and proceeded to perform a perfectly executed Judo throw, flipping him to the ground and punching him one time in the face. Star Doki-Doki then looked up to see a whole group of Dusks approaching him. Before he could do anything, they all dog piled on top of him. Bat Shadow laughed as he watched the “defeat” of the novice Star Warrior, “That was too easy!” Doki laughed, “It seems that nowadays the Shadows are idiotic and dense. Do you honestly think my partner is going to go down because of a dog pile!” As if on cue, Star Doki-Doki sent all of the Dusks flying with his tremendous strength, turning them all into nothing but mist. Bat Shadow was shocked, “But..!” “My fierce spirit won’t allow me to lose!” Star Doki-Doki cried. He then opened up the pouch and took out two small orange Star Coins and slid them into two, out of six, tiny insert circles on his Star Watch and thrusted it upwards into the sky. “In the name of the Elemental Fire Spirit, Doki, lend me the access to the Doki-Doki Inferno Chakrams!” After he finished chanting the magical words, his Star Watcher began to glow and beamed greatly until two orange chakrams appeared in both of his hands. Star Doki-Doki’s Fire powers caused the Chakrams to burn fiercely like before. He then charged forward and slashed two across the chest and sliced one in half before kicking one in the stomach. In a total of four minutes, he had managed to defeat all of the Dusks. A new record it seems, thought Doki. Star Doki-Doki then charged head on to Bat Shadow and headbutted him in the stomach, throwing him back into a street, interrupting the people driving or walking on the busy streets. “Sorry!” Star Doki-Doki cried. However, he was interrupted by Bat Shadow’s solar screech. The screech was so sharp and loud that Star Doki-Doki had to drop his weapons and cover his ears before the sound busted his eardrums and knocked him unconscious. Bat Shadow saw his opportunity and flew forward and grabbed Star Doki-Doki. “We’re going for a little ride!” Bat Shadow cried, “Hope you enjoy it!” Bat Shadow flew high into the air while carrying a helpless, suspended Star Doki-Doki. Doki-Doki struggled while in mid-air, but nothing was working. “Let me go, Shadow!” Star Doki-Doki cried in anger. Bat Shadow smiled evilly, “You want to be let down? Okay, but don’t forget, you asked for this!” He loosened his grip on the Fire-themed Star Warrior, dropping him to the ground. Doki saw what was happening and reacted quickly. Out of nowhere, his body sprouted white angelic wings and he flew into the air and bit his long orange hair to stop him from falling. Star Doki-Doki looked up to see that his guardian had caught him, “Doki!” Doki smiled, “You’re welcome kid…” Dante smiled, “I knew you cared about me…” Doki blushed of embarrassment, “Hell no I don’t. I just wanted to save you since you are the only Star Warrior protecting this city, that’s all!” Star Doki-Doki smiled brightly, but his smile turned to a frown once he saw Bat Shadow flying towards them. Once the two of them flew back down to the ground, Dante grabbed his Chakrams and charged them with flames, before flinging them at the monster. The Chakrams hit the monster’s left wing and hand, burning them with scorching heat. He began to fly down. “Ow, ow, ow!” cried the injured Bat Shadow as he hit the ground with a thud. Star Doki-Doki took out four Star Coins from his pouch and loaded them into the four small circles and his Star Watch began to beam brightly while a harmonic tune played. He then shouted, “Doki-Doki Incinerating Blast!” His right hand began glowing with fire. He began charging up the blast before throwing up his flaming hand in front of himself and projecting the blast towards the injured Bat Shadow. The flames scorched the Bat Shadow, basically turning him into a barbeque and sent him flying into a building. “Nice work kid!” Doki replied with a smile and he scampered over to his partner’s side, “I think you’d better finish him off. The Shadow converting process is nearly complete!” Star Doki-Doki nodded as he readied his Chakrams, “Shadow, it’s been nice fighting you, but we have to part ways! Prepare to meet your end!” Star Doki-Doki quickly took out five small Star Coins and inserted them into the five small circles and his Star Watch called out, “Star Overload! Star Overload!” Star Doki-Doki smiled as he whipped his twin Doki-Doki Inferno Chakrams fiercely at blinding speeds, “Everlasting Burning Slash!” Star Doki-Doki ran towards the injured and weak Bat Shadow and slashed him through the chest with both of his flaming Chakrams horizontally and vertically, making the image of a flaming star at the finish like his previous battle. The Bat Shadow roared in pain and agony as his body began to turn dark and misty until he went into the air and exploded into a cloud stream of black, drifting along in the sky. Joker gritted his teeth, “Dammit! You got lucky this time Star Warrior, but next time… it will surely be different.” Joker then quickly disappeared into his own shadow. Doki ran up to Star Doki-Doki and wagged his tail, “I’m actually surprised to say this, but I’m proud of you. You did an excellent job in taking care of that Shadow…” Star Doki-Doki smiled as he bent down and extended his hand out to his partner, “Thanks Doki.” Doki became flustered as he extended his paw and slapped his partner’s hand gently, “Don’t get all happy that I complimented you… wait, the man!” Star Doki-Doki and Doki turned to see the wraps that were around the man’s body had disappeared since the monster was destroyed. He was on the floor and he was still in the stages of waking up. The fire Star Warrior shifted his hand in front of himself and shouted, “Star Warrior! Deform!” He turned into his civilian form and made his way towards the young delivery man and helped him up, “Sir, are you alright?” The delivery man took a while, but he finally responded after observing his surroundings, “What… what happened?” Dante smiled at the confused fellow, “The Star Warrior hero showed up and beat the Shadow monster and saved you.” The delivery man smiled brightly, “I’m… I’m so grateful. If the Star Warrior hadn’t showed up… I would’ve… I would’ve…” “It’s alright. You’re safe now,” Dante replied. While Dante and Doki were busy helping the poor delivery man, Ash was watching him behind a nearby tree. She had a shocked and awestruck look on her face, “Dante is… Star Doki-Doki?!” ---I--- “Are you kidding me?!” shouted a female kid’s voice. The voice was coming from a teenage girl that had the appearance of a tiny, human version of Gothitelle. She had black curled ponytails and she had a white ribbon on the top of her head. She wore black arm-length gloves that could materialize any weapon she thought of. She wore a gothic Lolita outfit. On her back was her secondary weapon which was a violin. Her name was Naga. “How could you let that darn Star Warrior defeat Bat Shadow?!” roared Naga in a fit of rage. She quickly slapped her hands together and slowly pulled them apart, a black staff materializing from her gloves and into her hand, “I should slap you across the face!” “Shut up already,” Sebastian yawned. Sebastian had a tealish hair color and neat long hair that went to his elbows. He has a collar-neck suit, which, at the collar, opens whenever he talks. He also wears unique eyeglasses that are tinted blue. He spoke in a childish manner most of the time. Naga and Sebastian were the other two, out of the four, “High-Ranked” subordinates of Queen Oblivion. Basiolio sighed as he foresaw where this was about to go, “Here they go again…” “What’d you just say to me Sebastian!” roared Naga. Sebastian yawned again and spoke in a tired, bored monotone voice, “I said shut up already. Your mouth is yapping too much.” Naga was furious, “Why you…!” She was just about to blow her top and lung at her fellow Shadow member when… “NAGA! ENOUGH!” roared Queen Oblivion, causing a now frightened Naga to immediately stop in her tracks. Queen Oblivion quickly regained her usual composure. “Joker… you have disappointed me…” Queen Oblivion said in her bored tone. Joker gritted his teeth, “I am very sorry… Bat Shadow had the upper hand against him, but in the end he managed to come out on top. But I promise next time, it will surely be without fail.” Queen Oblivion sighed, “I know it will be without fail… because I’m appointing Naga to guide the next Shadow…” Joker’s eyes widened, “But Queen…!” “THIS IS NOT UP FOR DISCUSSION!” roared Queen Oblivion. Naga giggled, “I’m glad I’ll be of help, your Majesty. So… when do we begin?” Queen Oblivion sighed, “I know you’re not going to be happy with this, but since your Dark Energy isn’t that great, you’ll be needing assistance from… Iscariot the Hitman…” Naga was about to reply, but then… Suddenly, a shadow gate appeared in front of beside Joker and out stepped a man. He wore a black fedora with a thick purple stripe running across the sides of the cone. He has black eyes and wears an all-black suit with black boots and a yellow long sleeved polo with a blue necktie underneath. He had two black guns in his holsters. He tipped the brim of his hat respectfully, “I received your message. I’m always up to return to my duties as a Hitman and assist my Queen…” ---I--- In Utopia City National Airport, a large, fueled plane landed on the runaway, finally arriving in Utopia City at a good time as well. Once the plane had finally halted to a stop upon landing, a certain young individual exited the plane. Koji has long black hair, which is pulled in a ponytail, that is covered by a blue and gray camouflage bandana, and he has dark blue eyes. He wears gray pants that end at his ankles with long blue socks and white sneakers with blue stripes, a yellow shirt under a blue jacket with yellow stripes. His teeth appeared to be vampire-like… like fangs. In his hand was a blue retro GameBoy Advanced. As he made his way outside after walking through an immense amount of people, he stopped and stared up at the sky. He then looked to his side to see a blue medium-sized wolf with black claws and sharp teeth. His tail was blue as well with a white streak going down it. His ears were very small, but fidgety. “We’ve finally made it to Utopia City… Subzero,” The boy finally spoke. The wolf spirit chuckled, “Yeah we are…this is a town full of Shadows… do think you can defeat them, Fang?” “Heck yeah… and I will take down that Star Doki-Doki as well…” ---I--- ------------------------ *cue Ending #1: Nibun no Ichi by BACK-ON* --------------------------- Sorry if it was a long chapter. Didn't plan on it being THIS long. Hope you enjoyed it though.
