Yeah, I was expecting either a kill and replace or a kidnap and replace. They are going the serious route here.
Looks like we are nearing the end of the first arc then. I don't know if the Gifu summoning thing is going to work or not, but something major is going to happen with that event that kicks off the next arc. |

So it seems Julio might opt to save Aguilera rather than completely devote himself to the Deadmans. I sense a dramatic sacrifice in the future.
Anyway, seeing the captain with a massive grin and high pitched maniacal laughter was not what I was anticipating. I was kind of hoping he'd keep his serious and stoic demeanor akin to when he was initially staring down Hiromi. Oh well. Curious about who they're going to reveal the real Chameleon Deadman is. So, Ikki has no or very little empathy for others, and that's a good thing? Um, okay.

I don't think that's the point here. I think the point here is that he doesn't have to meet anyone else's expectations. He is who he is. He's imperfect, but that's okay. Everyone is. |

Vice bassically says "Well if that who you are, why you so bothered by it, there is nothing wrong helping people if you think is right" To me none of this right or wrong thats why i think Lawyer commentary is Fire toward Ikki |

In regards to " they are at the club according to the previews " I do not watch the previews for the next episodes, if there is anything I have learned it is not to watch the previews for this show, as Rider and Sentai both for decades have liked to spoiler pretty much every episodes major reveals in them.
Not always, but most of the time I would argue. It is also why I generally do not read the forum that much anymore as people talk abit to much about upcoming parts or leaked footage/scans, not published but actual leaks. But I do put my vote in each week, not always part of the episode discussions though. But that is a me thing either way, as for the current events it can go a few ways, Aguilera will either fall to despair at the fact that she is a sacrifice, and likely a very vital sacrifice considering she has been raised from a child into the role. Or She might get really happy about it, it depends, I could see that happening, but it is probably more likely she will be turned into a damsel in distress which I honestly am not really a fan of her becoming, especially since she has been shown easily smacking the other big boys around and other characters without even having a monster form. |

But here's the catch: before that, the lawyer entered the bathhouse with his shoes on, which was emphasized. That is, he demands respect from Ikki, but he himself does not show it. And this is already hypocrisy, conscious or not. So Weiss is right about not listening to this guy. |

I do want to give credence to the lawyer's complaints, as I think it's a more interesting take on what's happening with Ikki's character then the show's provided so far.
As for Vice's response... even though the show frames it as a heroic comeback, it's very funny to me how much 'Don't address your flaws, just stay in your comfort zone,' is Very 'Devil on your Shoulder' advice. |

When you think about it, it's a contrast to when the hero tells the villain why they lost, At least in Showa terms. It would go to show how times have changed. |
