So on a whim I just got the $15 Kamen Rider Agito Trinity SIC figure and after, like, 2 minutes the wrist for the blue hand broke when I tried to remove it to swap. From reviews I've seen this has happened to others but does anyone know a good way to extract the ball-joint remains from the socket?
Also, I was thinking of getting the OOO Putotyra SIC but I wanted to know if the expensive SIC figures are also fragile. |

if you have pin drill then you can take the ball joint out though do be extra careful.
the newer SIC are very sturdy. Older SIC (Vol 1-20 +/- ) since they were more like articulated statues were in my opinion fragile. There are a bunch of SIC figures up on eBay I would start there. |

Also, I was thinking of getting the OOO Putotyra SIC but I wanted to know if the expensive SIC figures are also fragile. If it's the former, yes as touched on above basically EVERY SIC release before the 40s (so, starting with the Den-O figures) are incredibly fragile and can break with minimal handling. If it's the KT version, though I don't recall the KTs experiencing the same fragility issues as the early normal-sized SIC figures, it's not impossible that would happen, but KTs don't have any reputation for fragility that I'm aware of. As for the OOOs...again, basically every SIC release after Den-O is fine in terms of fragility, so you won't have anything to worry about regarding any of the OOO figures. The only thing I can think of regarding any of the OOOs is the wing pieces on Tajadol have a habit of sliding off their pegs (something rectified with nail polish) and the stands that come with Tajadol and Putotyra aren't really effective at propping them up. Outside of some fluke breakage or you mishandling it, you should be fine. EDIT: If you have any further questions, there is a dedicated SIC thread in the forum. http://www.tokunation.com/showthread.php?t=442 |
