I know that it might sound like a stupid question but I wonder if we can play actual TCG a la Yu Gi Oh or Magic the Gathering with these Ride Chemy Cards. If so, what are the rules?

They're "Ganbarizing" cards for the arcade machine Kamen Rider Battle: Ganba Legends.

I think you can. But if you want the game to be close to the show, you will have to wait for at least half of it to debut.

The most obvious thing that comes to my mind about the game. Players are randomly dealt two or three cards. Those who were not lucky enough to get a pair for uniforms do not participate in the game, but they keep the cards and in the future they can exchange with one of the players. The remaining cards are assigned by monsters that are located in different locations of the school / city. Who exactly is known only to the gamemaster. Players take turns calling the location where they are going, encountering a monster. If they win, they take his card; lose - lose one card of their choice, which also becomes a monster. When all the monsters are defeated, the rider war begins. Well, in the end, the one who collects all the cards wins. The strength of the monsters can be tied to their number, and for the same cards of the degree of rarity, but in order to avoid disputes whether the mantis beat train or not, you still need to have an example from the show. If not, let the master decide. If the majority of players do not agree with the opinion of the master, he must concede. In principle, it is best to specify the relationship between the categories in advance, according to the principle of "rock-paper-scissors and a well in the yard."
To be honest, I like it more than the idea of DGP in the real world. Partly because I made it up, partly because I'm sure the DGP will steal buckles right out of the belt, claiming it's canon on the show. Last edited by Mesnick; 08-01-2023 at 10:05 AM.. |

The Legend Cards are amazing. I love that they are taking the Saber route and making original designs for the Riders rather than slapping some stock photo on and calling it a day.
It also struck me as interesting that pretty much every Reiwa Rider has a fair bit of merch for the previous season. Saber had three unique Wonder Ride Books for 01 (and a Legend Book), Geats had four buckles for the four main Revice Riders, and now Gotchard has four Geats Riders and their sponsors, as well as Glare and Gazer (Wasn't Glare in like one episode and easily killed off and forgotten? lol I forgot he and Zhin existed until their cards showed up, also poor Punkjack is left out). The odd one out here is Revice, which despite being the anniversary season, didn't do anything even remotely special for Saber (the Kajiki Vistamp was literally a Ticket-exclusive that I don't think even showed up in the background of the show). Should of had at least a pair of Blades and Espada Vistamps. I do wonder what the excuse for the Rider's cards will be for showing up in-show. This definitely removes the idea of Regular cards being references to other Rider's at least. |

It still seems to me more than just a coincidence that Gotchard's spigle matches Ex-Eida's shakariki sport both thematically and in colors. I think the designers weren't required to make the cards references, but they said that if they came up with something like that, they should feel free to add it.

Speaking of the color of the secondary pseudo-rider: it's not purple after all. Perhaps I would call his color magenta, but then we have to admit that Decade is pink. Basically, for me, the color of this guy is a dirty flamingo.
