We have a good song on this topic: "Once upon a time there was Nikitka, the autocrat of all Rus' ...". Its essence is that until a public figure endowed with power and money goes bankrupt or goes to the next world, the public will not know the whole truth about this person.

Musk is slowly but surely destroying Twitter. He's made so many changes, like making it so the verification blue check is no longer something earned, but something you buy (like a subscription). Made it harder for artists to get seen (unless they've got a blue check), limited the amount of posts a user can view per day (regardless of blue check or not) under the claim of "data scalping" (or something like that), that's just what I can think of off the top of my head on the base level. He's said the site/app would be a safe space for people, said he wouldn't allow people back that had been previously banned for being horrible people. But he's allowed all them back and has bent the knee to the folks with big money, allowing them to spew their hate and harmful views.

I'm a bit too young to have lived through that first Turtles popularity cycle, and it took me years to learn it all came from a comic. I wonder how many newer fans/kids know about this haha
I agree though, that first movie is fantastic. Take the beats of the comic and blend it with characterization of the cartoon, not to mention those timeless Jim Henson suits. Admittedly not a die hard TMNT fan, but the new movie looks fun! No more CG ogre abominations. I still find it funny how inspired it is by spiderverse by way of graffiti art vs comic dots Quote:
The 2003 cartoon and the first live-action movie are peak TMNT for me. I've liked other entries in the series here and there, but none of them have ever hit as hard as those two have for me. I really love all of the figures that NECA made for the first movie, and I really hope they make some for the 2003 show in the future.

The Gundam subreddit has become a bit...interesting after Witch From Mercury ended lol.
It's all obviously jokey in nature though I wouldn't be surprised if there were some legitimate crusaders hanging around in the background somewhere out there. Images are in the order they were posted on the subreddit.

You say that like Musk doesn't do all that too and worse. Dude censors any criticism of himself or his little bigot cronies, and actively promotes the views of all the worst people on Twitter

Watched the "Smoking Causes Coughing" film today. The trailers and reviews made it out to be a Tokusatsu-like surreal comedy, with a spandex-suited gang of Tabacco powered heroes fighting rubber suit monsters. A French version of Kanpai Senshi After-V, if anyone remembers that show. It is 'partly' that, but much more a weird anthology where the members tell each other spooky stories, the tokusatsu theme working as framing more than anything. I still enjoyed it, would recommend if you're into comedy that is more weird than outright funny.

Final Fantasy X
I finally got Rikuu elemental attacks and am trying to get her stronger before I finish the game. I also got Tidus in fighting shape so am getting gold like crazy for equipment. Now am also getting almost to Temple 4 for the next Aeon. Final Fantasy XII Trying to Level up to 99 before I finish the last chapter. 44 more levels darn it. TMNT Finished the 2012 series and over all it was solid. Watching TMNT 03 to catch up what I missed. Saw some of it on Netflix Disk rental. I watched TMNT 87 on DVD having bought it.

There's too many stuffed animals commercials, i miss the commercials with action figures of the 80's/90's.

Hello! I could not agree with you more here. I always remember the run up to christmas, where the number and frequency of action figure commercials went up even more! Remember the ads for MMPR Season 2 Zords like it was yesterday!
