TBH I haven't seen the show yet. What got me to buy the complete set was that I recently played the excellent PS2 videogame adaptation. And the Cyber Monday sale had the set for really cheap.

VOTOMS is very very good. The original TV series ran in 1983 and you could not tell. It has aged very well.
It's a little hard to get into because it has various TV series, movies, OVAs, etc, all of which take varying levels of liberties with the plotlines and cannon. But the action is excellent. The show had a big impact on a lot of mecha animators today.

I checked it out, really reminds me of patlabor and what 80's, 90's Gundam was like. |

I was lucky enough for my local Target to have him in stock. Wish they hadn't stopped selling Lightning Collection stuff since I really like the new Spectrum Packaging.
